The system can include a portable wireless device having an ECU, memory and an interactive remote patient monitoring module (IRPMM) for at least one medical device. The medical device data can be input by the patient, or in the alternative, be automatically received without input from the patient. The IRPMM also has a medical device data supply module receives medical device information from an outside third party and provides the medical device information to the patient.
