  • Patent number: 11615180
Abstract: A system and a method are provided for facilitating the security of sets of credentials. The system and method allow a user to lock or unlock a credential set of at least one user account. The user attempts to access the user account as standard procedure. Before a service provider goes through an authentication process, a third-party server of a service provider requests a token from the system. Based on if the credential set is in a locked status or unlocked status, at least one remote server of the system respectively relays an invalidation token or a validation token to the third-party server. If the invalidation token is relayed to the third-party server, the service provider does not go through the authentication process. If the validation token is relayed to the third-party server, the service provider proceeds with the authentication process as standard procedure.

  • Publication number: 20220321562
Abstract: A system and a method are provided for facilitating an account protection check for the security of sets of credentials. The system and method enable the use of an access control mechanism to regulate the changes to the lock status of the sets of credentials. A third-party server of a service provider requests a token from the system before the authentication process. The access control mechanism also approves or denies the request before the authentication process. If the credential set is in a locked status or unlocked status, at least one remote server of the system respectively relays an invalidation token or a validation token to the third-party server. If the invalidation token is relayed to the third-party server, the service provider does not go through the authentication process. If the validation token is relayed to the third-party server, the service provider proceeds with the authentication process as standard procedure.

  • Publication number: 20220321364
Abstract: A system and a method are provided for facilitating an account protection check through blockchain. The system and the method allow a service provider to utilize blockchain technology to validate the access request to various accounts. A public key and a private key are generated and recorded by a blockchain ledger that are used to access the accounts. A third-party server of a service provider requests a token from the system before the authentication process.

  • Publication number: 20220224688
Abstract: A system and a method are provided for facilitating an account protection check for the security of sets of credentials. The system and method allow a service provider to automatically lock a credential set of at least one user account if fraudulent activity is detected. A third-party server of a service provider requests a token from the system before the authentication process. User metadata is analyzed to detect potentially fraudulent activity from the user account.

  • Patent number: 8539550
Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for using gestures to authenticate a principal. The method acquires a multi-pattern authentication gesture that has multiple input patterns. The multiple input patterns have a temporal dimension. At least two of the multiple input patterns overlap in the temporal dimension. The multi-pattern authentication gesture also has a duration. The method compares whether the multi-pattern authentication gesture is sufficiently similar to an available gesture template over a portion of the duration and assigns a level-of-trust to the principal responsive to the comparison. The apparatus and program products use the method.

  • Patent number: 8156166
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention provide a system that facilitates the selection of a doctor for a user. The system provides a list of doctors to the user based on an observed experience level of the listed doctors with a condition or a procedure. During operation, the system receives from a user a selection criteria for selecting of a doctor. The system also receives from the user a medical profile for the user. Next, the system receives from a third-party a plurality of doctors' profiles. Then, the system ranks the plurality of doctors' profiles into a ranked list based on the selection criteria and conditions within the medical profile. Finally, the system sends the ranked list to the user.

  • Patent number: 8060395
Abstract: A priority-based scheduling service may schedule appointments between service providers and service consumers by assigning a priority to an appointment request based on one or more factors. The scheduling service may take into consideration the history of the service consumer and the purpose or reason for the appointment request. In addition, preferences indicated by the service provider and service consumer may be taken into consideration by the scheduling service. A prioritized appointment request may be scheduled dependent upon how high or low a priority has been assigned to the request. The scheduling service may apply rules during the prioritizing and scheduling processes. Rules may be configured by the service providers. Once the appointment has been scheduled by the scheduling service, notification may be sent to the service provider and service consumer. Communication between the scheduling service, service providers and service consumers may be accomplished via a communications network.
