  • Publication number: 20110150045
Abstract: A method a system for receiving signals from plural frequency bands and plural communication protocols. An interchangeable radio frequency (“RF”) front end may receive RF signals from plural frequency bands and plural communication protocols. Intermediate frequency (“IF”) circuitry may produce one or more common IF signals from the received RF signals. • Publication number: 20060248611
Abstract: The present invention provides methods of marker assisted selection for high oleic/low linolenic traits in canola and in other oil seed crop species, as well as isolated nucleic acids for use as molecular markers in such methods. In particular, molecular markers and Brassica nucleic acid corresponding to fad2 and fad3 gene mutations are disclosed. The markers of the present invention are highly useful for the direct selection of desirable fad2 and fad3 alleles during marker-assisted trait introgression and breeding. In a one aspect of the embodiment, two single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers are provided which correspond to the alleles. Thus, the present invention advantageously permits one of skill in the art to breed for the molecular markers described herein, or derivatives thereof, rather than breeding for a high oleic/low linolenic phenotype.

  • Publication number: 20060136359
Abstract: A method for initializing a chain of non-initialized data collectors is disclosed. The chain of non-initialized data collectors are coupled to a controller. In a first step communication between the controller and each data collector in the chain of non-initialized collectors is disabled, except for an active non-initialized data collector, The active non-initialized collector is coupled to the controller and any remaining non-initialized data collectors. Next, the active non-initialized data collector is initialized by assigning an identification number to the active non-initialized data collectors. The active non-initialized collector becomes an initialized data collector. Then, communication is restored between the initialized data collector and a next active non-initialized data collector in the chain of non-initialized data collectors. The method repeats until all non-initialized data collectors are initialized.

  • Publication number: 20060126629
Abstract: An Internet Protocol address manager creates data containers for managing Internet Protocol addresses. Each data container can store one or more address blocks of Internet Protocol addresses and includes a container policy for managing the address blocks. Additionally, the Internet Protocol address manager creates links between the data containers to organize the data containers into a container hierarchy. The Internet Protocol address manager can then allocate the address blocks or portions thereof among the data containers in the container hierarchy according to the container policies. Moreover, each data container can be associated with a network or subnet of a computer network. Further, the Internet Protocol address manager can allocate or assign multiple Internet Protocol addresses of multiple Internet Protocol versions to subnets or hosts in the computer network.

  • Publication number: 20060106551
Abstract: A method for determining damage in a structural health monitoring system comprising a plurality of sensors distributed across a structure is disclosed. The method includes decomposing the plurality of sensors into a plurality of sub-arrays. Each sub-array is associated with a current sensor. For each sub-array, data is collected, the data corresponding to electrical signals produced by waves initiated by the current sensor and detected by a receiving sensor. The data is used to calculate a damage measurement for the sub-array. Then, the damage measurement determined for each sub-array is combined to determining an overall damage assessment from the combined damage measurements.
