  • Publication number: 20210257820
Abstract: A joint fitting for an electrical conduit raceway includes a body having an open side and defining a central passageway therein; a lid configured to be disposed on the body to close the open side of the body; at least one fastener configured to connect the lid to the body; and a gasket disposed between the lid and the body, the gasket being configured to seal a connection between the lid and the body. The lid includes at least one aperture formed therein for receiving the at least one fastener therein to allow the fastener to extend through the lid and the gasket comprises at least one cylindrical projection configured to extend into the aperture in the lid and receive the at least one fastener therein to retain the at least one fastener to the lid.

  • Patent number: 10951015
Abstract: A joint fitting for an electrical conduit raceway may include a body including a first end and a second opposing end, at least one threaded section provided in the first end or the second end, at least one non-threaded section provided between the at least one threaded section and the corresponding first end or second end, the at least one non-threaded section defining a channel, and a sealing member positioned within the channel. Upon a radial compressive force being applied to the sealing member, at least a portion of the sealing member may protrude or extend from a terminal surface of the corresponding first end or second end.

  • Publication number: 20210060663
Abstract: A tool for removing a coating from an end of a coated conduit comprising a metallic conduit having an outer diameter and a polymeric material applied over the outer diameter thereof is provided. The tool comprises: a guide member having an outer diameter sized to fit within an internal diameter of the metallic conduit; and a cylindrical cutting member having a substantially closed first end rotatably connected to an arbor, a substantially open second end, and a plurality of teeth elements. The cylindrical cutting member has an inner diameter that is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the metallic conduit such that when the cylindrical cutting member is rotated, the teeth elements remove the polymeric material from the outer diameter of the metallic conduit.
