  • Publication number: 20240137726
Abstract: Some disclosed systems and methods include a surround sound controller and one or more wireless headphones that switch between operating in various modes. In a first mode, the surround sound controller uses a first MCS to transmit first surround sound audio information to a first pair of headphones. In a second mode, the surround sound controller uses a second MCS to transmit (a) the first surround sound audio information to the first pair of headphones and (b) second surround sound audio information to a second pair of headphones. In operation, the first MCS corresponds to a lower data rate at a higher wireless link margin than the second MCS.

  • Publication number: 20240137378
Abstract: The email system utilizes statistical analysis to assign an importance score to each user within an organization based on their email activity. The score is continuously updated to reflect changes in email flow and user status. The system identifies high-profile individuals who are likely to be targeted by external actors and assigns them a higher importance score. It also adjusts the scores based on several dampening factors related to the user's email behavior. The system uses these scores to determine vip users and tailors its response to malicious emails accordingly. Vip-specific threat handling rules, which are less disruptive or intrusive, are applied when a malicious email targets a vip user. The system intelligently derives user importance information, allowing it to identify a larger subset of important users within an organization. This approach minimizes disruption, tailors actions to key stakeholders, and does not require significant manual tuning.

  • Publication number: 20240131295
Abstract: A device (102) provides respiratory treatment for SDB (including mild OSA) and other respiratory conditions. A flow generator warms and humidifies gas at controlled flow levels. For example, the device (102) delivers breathable gas to the upper airway at flow rates of about 10-35 Liters/minute. Levels of flow rate, temperature and/or humidification of the device may be automatically adjusted in response to the detection of SDB events. The device may also automatically deliver adjustments of any of the levels in accordance with detected phases of respiratory cycles. In some embodiments, the device automatically delivers distinct levels to either of the nares based on independent control of flow to each nare. A warm-up procedure controls temperature and humidity at a desired target during a ramp-up of flow to the set therapy level. A cool-down procedure controls temperature above the dewpoint to avoid condensation internal to the device and patient interface.

  • Publication number: 20240130998
Abstract: This invention is a safe and effective method to treat chronic pain with the oral administration of procaine as a non-selective voltage sodium channel (VGSC) blocker. The dose of oral procaine has been estimated based upon the pharmacokinetics required to produce action potential inhibition in neurons of dorsal root ganglia. Intraneural ion trapping effects and low CSF pseudocholinesterase will increase the concentration of charged procaine within Nav 1.8 channels. The co-administration of benzodiazepines will increase the therapeutic ratio of procaine mitigating central nervous system toxicity. A dibucaine number is required prior to initiation of therapy. Side effects have hindered development of selective VGSC blockers. Modification of oral procaine administration with over 100 clinical practice years of known side effects may meet this unmet need.
