Abstract: The present invention relates to personal care compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions and methods of making and using such personal care compositions. Such personal care compositions comprising the malodor control technologies disclosed herein provide malodor control without leaving an undesireable scent and when perfume is used to scent such compositions, such scent is not unduely altered by the malodor control technology.

Abstract: A composition comprising branched fructan molecules derived from a fructan extract of perennial high sugar grass (HSG) selected from the group consisting of AberMagic cultivar, AberDart cultivar, and S48 (Lolium spp), and obtained by enzymic endo-hydrolase hydrolysis, wherein said branched fructan molecules have a molecular weight of between 0.3 to 3 kDa, and wherein at least 50% of the branched fructan molecules present in the composition have a molecular weight of between 0.48 and 1.9 kDa is provided. Also provided are feed or food supplement comprising such a composition, a method of producing a composition comprising branched fructan molecules, and a method of making a feed or foodstuff.

Abstract: In one instance, a parking lot system is presented with a first driveway in a first direction and a second driveway in a second direction opposite the first direction. The first driveway includes a first plurality of parking spaces, wherein each parking space comprises a first rectangular space to accommodate an automobile. A second rectangle is adjacent to the first rectangular space. The second driveway includes a second plurality of parking spaces, wherein each parking space comprises a third rectangular space sized to accommodate an automobile. The second rectangle is adjacent to the third rectangle. The second rectangle forms a buffer zone into which automobile doors in the second and third rectangle may open. The first and second plurality of parking spaces at least partially abut one another directly. Other systems are also presented.

Abstract: Disclosed are fibers which contain identification fibers. The identification fibers can comprise one or more chemical markers, or taggants, which may vary among the fibers or be incorporated throughout all of the fibers. The disclosure also relates to the method for making and characterizing the fibers. Characterization of the fibers can include identifying chemical markers and correlating the chemical markers and a taggant chemical marker amounts of at least one of the chemical markers to manufacturer-specific taggants to determine supply chain information. The supply chain information can be used to track the fibers from manufacturing through intermediaries, conversion to final product, and/or the consumer.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an aqueous freshening composition having a plurality of particles suspended by a structurant system is provided. The method includes the steps of: mixing an aqueous carrier and at least 80 wt. % of ion-forming water-soluble ingredients of the freshening composition to form an aqueous premix; subsequently mixing a first polysaccharide into the aqueous premix; mixing a second polysaccharide into the aqueous premix after mixing the first polysaccharide into the aqueous premix to form a structured aqueous composition; and dispersing a plurality of particles into the structured aqueous composition to form the freshening composition.

Abstract: A railway vehicle includes two axles with wheels at ends thereof, and a frame rotatably supporting the axles. A seat is carried on the frame adjacent to pedals which are coupled to at least one of the wheels, typically through one of the axles. A battery and electric motor are configured to also supply power. The electric motor is adjustable to deliver controllable amounts of electric power to drive the wheels, separate from or in addition to pedal power delivered to the wheels. A trailer accessory can be towed on the rails by the vehicle. A turntable is provided with rail segments thereon, rotatable relative to a base, and with ramps on at least one end of each rail segment alignable with left and right rails of the railway. Vehicles can roll up the ramps onto the rail segments and then pivot 180° for operation in a reverse direction.

Abstract: A blowout preventer includes a main housing containing a through bore. A first chamber is arranged transverse to the through bore. A second chamber is transverse to the through bore and is diametrically opposed to the first chamber. A first shearing device is located in the first chamber and a second shearing device located in the second chamber. The blowout preventer includes a charge that when activated propels each shearing device along its respective chamber and across the through bore into the opposing chamber, such that the first and second shearing devices are adjacent each other.

Abstract: Methods and systems for creating a multi-applicant account profile are described. During a first remote session, a first applicant provides at least two pieces of contact data for second applicant. A unique link and a one-time password are transmitted to the second applicant using respective first and second pieces of contact data. A second remote session is initiated, in response to receipt of the one-time password, provided via the unique link. During the second remote session, identification information of the second applicant is provided. A new multi-applicant account profile is then created, after verifying the identification information of the first applicant and the second applicant.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a battery backup unit (BBU) cut-off and recharge circuit includes: a first transistor, a power entry connection connected to a main power supply, where power from the power entry connection flows to application circuits for an electronic device, and the first transistor is positioned between a BBU and the power entry connection, and a microcontroller, where the microcontroller is operative to: detect a loss of power from the main power supply, turn on the first transistor to enable the BBU to discharge through the power entry connection to application circuits, detect a status of charge (SOC) for the BBU, and upon detecting that the SOC is under a predefined threshold, set the BBU cut-off and recharge circuit to a lockdown state by turning off the first transistor.
