Abstract: The present disclosure provides a bespoke eyewear and a system and a method for manufacturing the bespoke eyewear. In one aspect, the method for manufacturing the bespoke eyewear frame includes capturing one or more facial images of a user using an image capturing device, generating a facial model from said one or more facial images, extracting a plurality of facial parameters from the facial model, generating a three-dimensional digital model of an eyewear frame based at least in part on one or more of the facial parameters of the user, and transmitting the three-dimensional digital model to an additive manufacturing apparatus for additively manufacturing the bespoke eyewear frame.

Abstract: An injector device for the percutaneous injection of fluids, such as medications, is disclosed. The device can have a mobile phone case. The mobile phone case can hold an auto-injector cartridge having a trigger, spring-loaded needle and reservoir holding a medication such as epinephrine or insulin. The device mobile phone case can communicate injection data to the phone. The phone can communicate the injection data to an emergency service provider.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of investment casting using additive manufacturing. In one aspect, the method includes: creating a digital model of a building component using one or more software tools executed on a computer device and importing the digital model in an additive manufacturing apparatus; producing a first physical specimen by controlling the additive manufacturing apparatus in accordance with the digital model; creating a first negative mold using the first physical specimen as a template, the first negative mold having a hollow space substantially defined by a surface profile of the first physical specimen; producing a second physical specimen using the first negative mold; creating a second negative mold enclosing the second physical specimen therein; producing a casting piece using the second negative mold; and finishing the casting piece to produce the building component.
