  • Patent number: 10975668
Abstract: The current subject matter is related to optimizing resource (e.g., steam) allocation within steam assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) system, and predicting future oil production from production wells of the SAGD system. In some embodiments data characterizing a hypothetical rate of steam injection into injection wells of the SAGD system can be applied within a capacitance resistance model (CRM) to determine an estimated rate of future fluid production, the fluid being a mixture of oil and water. An emulsion viscosity, as well as the estimate rate of future fluid production, can be applied within a Koval fractional flow model to determine an estimate rate of future oil production. In some cases, the hypothetical rate of steam injection can be optimized based on an optimization objective, e.g., a steam-to-oil ratio (SOR).

  • Publication number: 20180357343
Abstract: According to some embodiments, system and methods are provided, comprising calculating a region of competence for a data-driven model; executing a physics-driven model when the calculated region of competence for the data-driven model falls outside of a threshold region of competence; and calibrating the physics-driven model as a function of a discrepancy between physics-driven model and actual field data when a stopping criterion has not been met. Numerous other aspects are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070135691
Abstract: A medicament compliance monitoring system and method of monitoring medicament compliance are disclosed. The medical compliance monitoring system includes a detector, a transmitter, and a monitoring center. The detector is configured to detect an activity indicative of medical compliance of a medicament. The transmitter is in communication with the detector. The monitoring center is in communication with the transmitter. The transmitter is adapted to communicate data from the detector to the monitoring center in real-time to the occurrence of the activity indicative of compliance. The method includes detecting an activity indicative of medical compliance of a medicament; and transmitting the detected activity to a monitoring center in real-time to the occurrence of the activity indicative of medicament compliance. Also disclosed is a medicament container.

  • Publication number: 20070096896
Abstract: A system for detecting potentially adverse conditions includes a plurality of different types of sensors each adapted to monitor a different measured parameter of an infrastructure. The system also includes a model that fuses data from the plurality of sensors and provides an indication of a potentially adverse condition. A method is also provided for detecting potentially adverse conditions.

  • Publication number: 20070078695
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for identifying assets for resource allocation are provided. The method includes gathering data that includes asset data and ambient area data. The asset data relates to each asset in an infrastructure and the ambient area data relates to a geographic region surrounding a corresponding asset. The method also includes analyzing the asset and ambient area data to determine the propensity for an event or condition, occurring within each ambient area, to have an unfavorable impact on the asset. The method further includes rating a severity of the unfavorable impact, and selecting at least one asset in the infrastructure for allocating a resource based upon the rating.

  • Publication number: 20060068754
Abstract: A security monitoring system 10 for a large infrastructure 12 is provided. The system includes several magnetometers 14 disposed around an area 16 of the infrastructure. According to aspects of present technique at least one magnetometer 28 is configured to relay an alert signal indicating a change in a magnetic flux profile around the area. A central unit 56 is configured to receive the alert signal from at least one magnetometer and initiate a response to the alert signal.
