  • Publication number: 20230024039
Abstract: Techniques for automatic control of a vehicle are disclosed. The vehicle may include a removable input device having various modes of operation. For example, a coupled mode of operation may control the vehicle when an operator is in an operator area of the vehicle, while a remote mode of operation may enable vehicle control when the operator is outside of the operator area. The vehicle may include object sensors to detect a target such as the removable input device or an operator device. Accordingly, the vehicle may automatically follow the target. The vehicle may also identify obstacles, in response to which manual control of the vehicle may at least temporarily be provided to the operator, after which automatic control may resume.

  • Patent number: 10887737
Abstract: A method and system includes a first radio generating a beacon signal. The beacon signal has group beacon data for a group comprising a plurality of radios and the first radio. The first radio transmits the beacon signal during a beacon timeslot of a frame. The frame has a plurality of timeslots. A second radio outside the group receives the beacon signal, identifies a first timeslot that is unused based on the group beacon data and communicates data from the second radio to the group during the first timeslot.

  • Patent number: 9925811
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to control operation of a printer based on whether a marker is detected in a pigment ink are disclosed. Example apparatus include an optical sensor to detect a marker in a vehicle component of the pigment ink. The vehicle is depleted of a pigment component. The apparatus also includes a controller to control operation of the printer based on whether the marker is detected. The apparatus can also include an authorizer to determine whether the printer in which the pigment ink is installed is authorized to use the pigment ink having the marker. The controller of the apparatus is to control operation of the printer by transmitting a control signal to a print head processor to halt printing operations. The apparatus can additionally include a filter to deplete the vehicle component of the pigment component.
