  • Publication number: 20060056169
Abstract: A streetlight wherein the conventional incandescent light bulb is replaced by sets of light-emitting LED clusters. The clusters comprise parallel circuits of LED bulbs mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB). Preferably, the configuration comprises ten clusters, each cluster having two parallel circuits of LEDs, each circuit having twenty LEDs. Each cluster may be connected separately to its own power source or a single power source can be used to power the entire set of clusters. The LED bulbs face downwards, and operate to disperse light directly onto the intended area of the road or street surface. The lamp is encased within a glass cover lens.

  • Publication number: 20060051207
Abstract: Arrays of LEDs are mounted within the tip of windmill wings, each array comprising a plurality of LEDs mounted to printed circuit boards. Additional printed circuit boards assembled over the LED printed circuit boards provide both a radio frequency interference barrier and Faraday cage effect lightning protector. This assembly (lamination) forms assembled core units which then slide into dove tails formed in a central bracket positioned in the wing interior. The bracket also serves as a wing tip spar. The spar, with the assembled core units coupled thereto, slides into channels formed in the interior surfaces of the wing.

  • Publication number: 20050265039
Abstract: An improved LED light bulb for use in a brake light bulb socket of an automobile or similar vehicle wherein selected numbers of LED are energized at full intensity depending upon whether the automobile is in the brake light mode or the tail light mode. The light emitting diode lamp includes first and second printed circuit boards having first and second pluralities of light emitting diodes mounted thereupon for emitting monochromatic light in response to power signals supplied from the automobile. All LED's are on full intensity in the brake light mode and less than the full number of LED's on the first and second printed circuit boards are on at full intensity for the tail light mode.
