  • Patent number: 12505056
Abstract: A technique for communicating between multiple endpoints of an electronic system includes providing a common interface component for each endpoint. Each common interface component is configured to translate between endpoint-specific messages of a respective endpoint and generalized messages that are not specific to any endpoint. Using this arrangement, any two endpoints can communicate via generalized messages, by translating endpoint-specific messages of a sender into generalized messages and by translating generalized messages into endpoint-specific messages of a receiver.

Date of Patent: December 23, 2025
    Assignee: Textron Systems Corporation

  • Patent number: 11851178
Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that provides increased operational flight endurance and efficiency. The UAV includes a power generation system, which includes an internal combustion engine and one or more batteries (batteries). The power generation system is configured to generate power for propulsion of the UAV. The internal combustion engine is configured to power a lift propeller, generating vertical lift of the UAV, and the batteries are configured to power a micro-propeller assembly, propelling the UAV in a forward direction or multiple additional directions.

  • Publication number: 20200065890
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving video data associated with a plurality of live video streams of a plurality of videographers; filtering the video data to generate a list, wherein the list identifies a subset of the plurality of live video streams, and wherein the subset as identified by the list excludes at least one live video stream of the plurality of live video streams; presenting, to respective equipment of a plurality of potential bidders, an availability of each of the live video streams of the subset; receiving an acceptable bid, that satisfies a bid threshold, from first equipment of one of the potential bidders, wherein the acceptable bid is to purchase a right to a first live video stream of the subset; and responsive to receiving the acceptable bid, transmitting instruction data to equipment of a network operator to facilitate the equipment of the network operator giving priority to uploading of the first live video stream by a first videographer, of the plura

  • Publication number: 20090206102
Abstract: A carrier for a dispenser of pre-moistened wipes of the kind that are saturated with a cleaning or antiseptic solution, a moisturizer, and the like, and having particular application for wiping clean the anal region of a user's body following use of dry toilet paper. The carrier is adapted to be detachably connected to a conventional holder for a roll of toilet paper that is typically mounted against a wall in a bathroom and located near a toilet. At the top of the carrier is an open shell that is sized and shaped to fit snugly within a correspondingly shaped receptacle of the toilet paper roll holder. Located opposite the shell of the carrier is a tail to which is removably attached the wipe dispenser. The carrier is advantageously adapted to be quickly and easily connected to and disconnected from an existing toilet paper roll holder without having to make any changes to the holder.

  • Patent number: 7031927
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for weather and/or terrestrial vegetation-based water renovation and management forecasting are described herein. The system includes a water renovation and management forecast system that acts as an analysis engine, where the analysis engine executes a request for the evaluation of water. The system may also include a front end system that preferably provides a graphical user interface to the users of the present invention to access the water renovation and management forecast system. In addition, a database stores both past (i.e., history) and future (i.e., forecast) weather and/or terrestrial vegetation data that are used by the water renovation and management forecast system in the analysis of the water. Data in the database are passed in via the front end system, collected by the water renovation and management forecast system, or derived by the water renovation and management forecast system.

  • Patent number: 4938725
Abstract: A leash including a cord to attach a surfer to his surfboard. The cord is retractable by spring action into a housing so as to eliminate slack or excess cord length and thereby reduce both the potential for tangling and drag through the water. The housing is detachably connected to the surfboard at the existing crossbar which is typically embedded therewithin.
