  • Publication number: 20100207755
Abstract: A multi-functional, composite fuel display for displaying both fuel level information and fuel economy information is provided. The fuel level is displayed using a plurality of bar segments, each corresponding to a single unit of fuel. Once a single unit of fuel is consumed, the corresponding bar segment changes size to indicate an average fuel economy for that unit of fuel. The bar segment corresponding to the current unit of fuel being consumed changes size in real time to indicate instantaneous fuel economy. An indicator is provided over the bar segments corresponding to single unit of consumed fuel to indicate average fuel economy for the current tank of fuel.

  • Publication number: 20100154835
Abstract: A method and apparatus for cleaning residue from components of semiconductor processing systems used in the fabrication of microelectronic devices. To effectively remove residue, the components are contacted with a gas-phase reactive material for sufficient time and under sufficient conditions to at least partially remove the residue. When the residue and the material from which the components are constructed are different, the gas-phase reactive material is selectively reactive with the residue and minimally reactive with the materials from which the components of the ion implanter are constructed. When the residue and the material from which the components are constructed is the same, then the gas-phase reactive material may be reactive with both the residue and the component part.

  • Publication number: 20100129379
Abstract: The present invention provides methods of optimizing certain stable liquid formulations of antibodies that immunospecifically bind to antigens of interest. Such formulations are suitable for parenteral administration to a subject, and exhibit increased stability, low to undetectable levels of aggregation, low to undetectable levels of antibody fragmentation/degradation, and very little to no loss of the biological activities of the antibodies, even during long periods of storage. The methods of the invention provide formulations that offer multiple advantages over formulations produced by non-optimized methods, including less stringent or more readily available transportation and storage conditions, less frequent dosing, and/or smaller dosage amounts in the therapeutic, prophylactic and diagnostic uses of such formulations. The invention further provides methods of identifying antibodies exhibiting certain phase behaviors such that the antibodies can be formulated by the methods of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20100102945
Abstract: An information display system for a vehicle includes an information display for displaying a plurality of selectable information display levels according to an information display hierarchy. Each selectable information display level may include one or more visual gauges for conveying vehicle information. Each successive selectable information display level may include additional and/or alternative vehicle information when compared to the preceding selectable information display level. The information display system further includes a controller configured to display the plurality of selectable information display levels according to an at least one driver input. In this way, the information display can display a particular selectable information display level best suited to a driver's individual preferences or understanding of the vehicle's operations.

  • Publication number: 20080320606
Abstract: The present invention is a system for discouraging the recording of a video image on a video recorder of a movie projected onto a display surface of a translucent movie screen. The system includes a plurality of IR projector lamps mounted behind the movie screen and adjacent to a back surface of the screen opposite the display surface. Each of the projector lamps is adapted and configured to generate an IR beam sufficient strong to transmit through the movie screen with sufficient intensity to create a bright spot of IR light on the display surface corresponding to the position of the IR projectors. The IR projectors are further adapted and configured such that the bright spots of IR light are sufficiently bright to appear clearly on the recorded video image. The IR projectors are releasably coupled to a control module contained in a housing via a plurality of connector elements and electrical lines.
