Abstract: Systems and methods for performing space time coding are provided. Two vector?matrix encoding operations are performed in sequence to produce a three dimensional result containing a respective symbol for each of a plurality of frequencies, for each of a plurality of transmit durations, and for each of a plurality of transmitter outputs. The two vector?matrix encoding operations may be for encoding in a) time-space dimensions and b) time-frequency dimensions sequentially or vice versa.
