  • Patent number: 7581793
Abstract: A vehicle seat for coupling to the floor of a vehicle comprising a seat back, a seat cushion, a first bracket, and a second bracket. The seat back is pivotable between at least a first position and a design position. The seat cushion is configured to be coupled to the vehicle floor. The first bracket is configured to be coupled to the vehicle floor and includes one of a keyed passage and a keyed pin configured to be received within the keyed passage. The second bracket is coupled to the seat back and includes the other one of the keyed passage and the keyed pin configured to be received within the keyed passage. The keyed passage is configured to receive the keyed pin only when the seat back is in a position the seat back will be prevented from assuming after the vehicle seat has been installed in the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080022196
Abstract: A method and apparatus that allows a user to specify whether his web page has primarily row or column layout. Web page editor software designed in accordance with the present invention generates the internal representation of a page (such as HTML) differently depending on how the user specifies the web page. A preferred embodiment of the present invention defaults to a primarily row layout, but allows the user to specify a primarily columnar layout by checking a box displayed by the editor. The editor generates an HTML table representing the page (or each frame of the page). Within the main HTML table, the editor generates HTML subtables, depending on whether the page is laid out using primarily row or column layout. The subtables are defined in such a way that the various elements of the page lined up in either a row or column direction, thus minimizing the problems.

  • Publication number: 20070140225
Abstract: A method for efficient communication from a cellular telephone handset. The method begins with the step of providing a cellular telephone handset, including an interface to a computer software system for requesting a call and providing a desired call number. Then, the system sends a message from the handset to a base computer, requesting a call and specifying a desired telephone number. The base computer receives the message and generates a conference call request to a telephone network provider, specifying the numbers of the handset and the desired telephone number. The telephone network conducts a conference call via the telephone network between the handset and the desired number.

  • Publication number: 20070058597
Abstract: A network mobility server, which includes a target device inventory module, a data collection module, a data management module and a distribution module. The data management module, includes at least one data storage module, in which at least a portion of the data stored therein are identical data items stored in different selected formats suitable for use on mobile computing and telecommunication devices. The network also includes network agents, resident on numbers of the network members.

  • Publication number: 20070058596
Abstract: A method for distributing data in a heterogeneous network. The method operates on a private mobile network, which includes a mobility server, mobile components and fixed components, on which the mobility server includes data storage units that store data on behalf of network members, at least some of such data being stored in multiple data formats. The distribution method includes transmitting upon request selected said data to addressees, each such transmission being formatted for acceptance by each respective addressee.

  • Publication number: 20070061394
Abstract: A method for automatically backing up data in a heterogeneous network. The network includes a mobility server, mobile components and fixed components, as well as data storage units that store data on behalf of network members, and network agents resident on selected components. The process is initiated by a network agent, which detects a change in data on a fixed or mobile network component meeting backup criteria for such component. The agent then selects data for backup, based on backup criteria, and, responsive to predetermined criteria, renders the data into selected formats before transmitting it to the mobility server. The mobility server then performs the backup operation.
