Abstract: A modular foundation system is provided which comprises a base structure defining a cabling void, and a raising frame element connected or connectable to an upper portion of the base structure, the raising frame comprising an adapter coupling. An electric-vehicle-charger adapter plate is then provided having a cabling aperture therethrough. The electric-vehicle-charger adapter plate is releasably engagable with the adapter coupling to provide a foundation for an electric vehicle charger once installed. A blanking cover releasably engagable with the adapter covering is also provided, the electric-vehicle charger adapter plate and blanking cover being selectably interchangeable.

Abstract: A modular frame for a cover for an in-ground chamber or pit, the modular frame comprising a plurality of frame sections securable relative to one another to form an external frame, at least some of the frame sections comprising an abutment wall to abut an upper portion of the in-ground chamber or pit, and a cover support structure to support a portion of one or more cover members relative thereto. Optionally, a depending structure to at least partially define an internal skirt configured to be received within the in-ground chamber or pit and/or an external upstand to at least partially define an opening into which the one or more cover members are locatable to at least partially close the opening may be provided. A cover including the modular frame and an in-ground chamber or pit including the cover are also provided.

Abstract: A modular electrical-cabinet mounting apparatus (110) is provided comprising a base wall assembly (122) defining a cabling void (124) and a multi-part support platform (126) which is mountable to the base wall assembly (122) to at least partly cover the cabling void (124). The support platform (126) comprises a plurality of individual platform members (132a, 132b, 140) which are interconnectable to form the support platform (126). At least two said platform members are formed as cabinet-support members (132a, 132b) having a cabling access aperture therethrough and the support platform (126) is configured to be selectively assembled so that the cabinet-support members (132a, 132b) are in a spaced-apart relationship along the length of the support platform (126).

Abstract: A cable trough (1) has a base (2) a plurality of sidewalls (3) and open ends (5, 6) arranged for connection to the open end of another cable trough to form a cable trough system. Both open ends (5, 6) are provided with a multiway connector (25, 26). The multiway connectors (25, 26) comprise both a groove (9) to receive the tongue (11) of another cable trough and a tongue for insertion into the groove of another cable trough. Both ends are capable of connection to a male connector (16) of another cable trough, comprising a tongue, and capable of connection to a female connector (15) of another cable trough, comprising a groove.

Abstract: A snap-in insert component for non-permanently closing an access opening fabricated near the top of the jamb of a sash window. Locating the access opening near the top of the window jamb avoids air infiltration problems in the window that result when the opening is located below the upper end of the lower sash of the window. The insert component, when inserted in the access opening, provides a bearing surface for a tilt latch on the lower sash when the sash is raised to the point of the access opening. This allows the sash to be raised all the way to the top of the window frame without experiencing un-desired movement in the in and out direction. The insert component can be readily re-moved and re-inserted in the field as the need arises. Because the insert component essentially completely fills the access opening, the appearance of the window is improved.

Abstract: This invention provides a removable staybar that is securely attached to the window frame and removed easily, with minimal effort after installation of the window, so that the full perimeter of the window frame can be opened and unobstructed for passage of bulky items therethrough. The staybar includes two opposing ends each having a groove and surrounding ramped inner faces. These grooves each pass over a web on a respective attachment member that is fixedly mounted to a side of the window frame. Each web on an attachment member supports a corresponding pair of ramped faces. The ramped faces of each attachment member are oriented so that, when each end of the staybar is moved onto a respective attachment member, the engaging ramped faces cause the ends of the staybar to be forcibly driven toward the adjacent inner-facing sides of the window frame for a tight, abutting fit between the frame faces and respective staybar ends.
