  • Publication number: 20250093536
Abstract: Mobile three-dimensional (3D) cadmium-zinc-telluride (CZT) radiation imager with aperture masks provide improved imaging speed and visual depth imaging capabilities, making the disclosed solutions suitable at least for intraoperative medical applications. A 3D CZT imager includes a plurality of CZT crystals configured to generate charge in response to incident radiation emitted from a radiated area within a portion of the anatomical body and one or more electrodes configured to collect the charge generated from the incident radiation and induce electrical signals in response to the collected charge. The 3D CZT imager further includes an aperture mask positioned between the plurality of CZT crystals and the radiation source/target being imaged. The mask includes openings being designed or configured for particular projections of a radiation distribution onto the plurality of CZT crystals. Solutions disclosed herein can generate localized 3D radiation image reconstructions in real-time or near real-time.

  • Publication number: 20240382215
Abstract: A surgical system includes a module and a battery. The module includes a body and a module connector including a first coupler, a first module terminal, and a second module terminal. The battery includes a housing, a rechargeable cell, and a battery connector coupled to the housing and including a first battery terminal, a second battery terminal, and a second coupler to rotatably engage the first coupler. The module terminals and the battery terminals are arranged such that rotation of the second coupler relative to the first coupler from an initial radial position to a first radial position brings the first module terminal into engagement with the first battery terminal, and rotation from the first radial position to a second radial position brings the second module terminal into engagement with the second battery terminal while maintaining engagement between the first module terminal and the first battery terminal.

  • Patent number: 12076028
Abstract: A surgical system comprises a handpiece and a battery. The handpiece includes a body and a handpiece connector operatively coupled to the body, the handpiece connector including a first coupler. The battery includes a housing, a rechargeable cell for storing an electric charge, and a battery connector operatively coupled to the housing, the battery connector including a second coupler configured to rotatably engage the first coupler. The second coupler receives the first coupler along an axis at an initial radial position where relative axial movement between the battery and the handpiece is permitted and permits rotation of the battery relative to the handpiece from the initial radial position to a first secured radial position and a second secured radial position. Relative axial movement between the battery and the handpiece is constrained in the first secured radial position and in the second secured radial position.

  • Patent number: 12040182
Abstract: In a variety of processes for forming electronic devices that use spin-on dielectric materials, properties of the spin-on dielectric materials can be enhanced by curing these materials using plasma doping. For example, hardness and Young's modulus can be increased for the cured material. Other properties may be enhanced. The plasma doping to cure the spin-on dielectric materials uses a mechanism that is a combination of plasma ion implant and high energy radiation associated with the species ionized. In addition, physical properties of the spin-on dielectric materials can be modified along a length of the spin-on dielectric materials by selection of an implant energy and dopant dose for the particular dopant used, corresponding to a selection variation with respect to length.
