  • Patent number: 11406505
Abstract: The glenoid implant described here addresses wear of the implant's portion which articulates with a humeral head, and also addresses a frequent need to reverse the normal glenoid and humeral articulating surfaces. The new glenoid implant provides a coupling portion between the implant's bone fixation portion, which joins the implant to the glenoid bone, and the implant's articulating portion which articulates on an opposing humeral head. The coupling portion is joined to the bone fixation portion firmly but is disengageable without requiring the bone fixation portion's replacement so that the articulating portion can be removed from the implant and replaced without changing either the coupling portion or the bone fixation portion.

  • Patent number: 10034674
Abstract: A system is disclosed for repairing and reconstructing an injured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). This system may be used irrespective of the type of patient or the ACL graft selected. Means for performing single or multiple bundle reconstruction, primary ACL repair and physeal-sparing ACL reconstruction are disclosed. A guide for inside-out creation of a femoral tunnel independent of the tibial tunnel is also disclosed, as well as a series of implant options for tibial and femoral fixation of any bone-soft-tissue composite or soft-tissue-only graft.

  • Patent number: 9387011
Abstract: A system is disclosed for repairing and reconstructing a joint which has been injured by trauma, and especially an acromioclavicular joint. Means are disclosed to strengthen the repair or reconstruction and to maintain alignment while the ligaments in the joint heal, thus allowing more aggressive rehabilitation. A new joint repair tool is disclosed which is inserted into two separated bones adjacent to their respective articular joint surfaces to connect the two bones and approximate the adjacent bearing articular joint surfaces while still allowing motion between the two bones. Instruments to perform the methods are also disclosed.
