Abstract: A tiltable lid assembly includes a base that is secured to a cup that holds a liquid substance. The base has an opening that is aligned with an opening on the cup. A cap assembly is secured to the base and includes a first seal for sealing the opening of the base and a second seal for sealing an air vent on the base. The cap assembly is tiltable along an axis, wherein in a first position, the cap assembly is in a level, non-inclined position and the first and second seals seal the opening and the air vent, respectively. In a second position, the cap assembly is inclined and the first and second seals are displaced from the opening and air vent. Releasable locking means secures the cap assembly in the first and second position.

Abstract: A single hand operated dual chamber grinder has an actuation mechanism that is in mechanical connection with a chamber selection mechanism. A user selects the desired chamber (e.g., desired spice), using the chamber selection mechanism. Once selected, and upon actuation motion, a grinding assembly specific to the selected chamber is engaged and activated.

Abstract: A rotary cutter comprises a body having a handle and a cutter opening. A reservoir of rotary blades is disposed in the body. A member is moveable between a protective and an exposed operative position. A releasable blade receiver assembly allows a blade to be ejected from the cutter and a replacement blade to be loaded onto the cutter for subsequent usage.

Abstract: A food processor (100) includes a base (102), a receptacle (108) mountable to the base (102), a drive mechanism (104) mounted within the base (102), a food processing blade (126) disposed within the receptacle (108) and operatively coupled to the drive mechanism (104), a cover (112) for at least partially covering the receptacle (108) and a feed tube (114) depending from the cover (112). The feed tube (114) includes an internal septum wall (120) defining first and second food chutes (116, 118). The first and second food chutes (116, 118) have respective chute openings (116a, 118a) for receiving food substances for processing by the food processing blade (126). At least one plunger, possibly two plungers (122, 124), may be positionable in the first and second food chutes (116, 118) for facilitating advancement of the food substances. The chute openings (116a, 118a) of the first and second food chutes (116, 118) may have substantially similar internal dimensions or different internal dimensions.
