  • Patent number: 11842123
Abstract: A voice activatable flight deck system including a voice recognition and processing system for receiving and processing input voice commands and determining machine commands for the voice activatable flight deck system. The system generates a voice ribbon specifying voice commanded and suggested values for attributes associated with the voice command.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 11, 2021
Date of Patent: December 12, 2023
    Assignee: HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC.

  • Patent number: 11740864
Abstract: A voice activatable flight deck system including a voice recognition and processing system for receiving and processing input voice commands and determining machine commands for the voice activatable flight deck system. The system provides indications as to whether user interface functional elements are voice command enabled, disabled or whether voice command input is not available. The system provides directional feedback to the voice command depending on whether a pilot in command or second in command issued the voice input.

  • Patent number: 11626023
Abstract: Aircraft display systems and methods. Flight data is received from a Flight Management System (FMS) or other flight data source. A map display is generated based on the flight data including a depiction of a flight path and a plurality of waypoints or other fixes. A user selection of one of the waypoints or other fixes is received. An edit dialog box is generated. A value for a constraint or condition for the selected one of the waypoints or fixes is entered in the edit dialog box display by the user via a user interface device. The value for the constraint or condition is applied to the selected one of the waypoints or fixes via the FMS or other flight data source. The map display is generated including the depiction of the flight path and the plurality of waypoints or fixes. An icon is tagged to the selected one of the waypoints or fixes. The icon denotes an existence of the constraint or condition and a type of the constraint or condition.

  • Publication number: 20120055130
Abstract: A lawn mower and spreader system includes a deck, a hopper, and a spreading element. The deck supports an engine having a power takeoff and at least partially surrounds a blade coupled to the power takeoff. The hopper is configured to support granular fertilizer. Furthermore, the hopper has a discharge chute leading to an opening in the deck. The spreading element is coupled to the power takeoff of the engine and is positioned between the deck and the blade. The spreading element includes a hub and arms that extend laterally from hub. The arms are spaced apart from one another by open slots.

  • Publication number: 20110114123
Abstract: A method and apparatus utilize a first beam emitter and a second beam emitter coupled to the first beam emitter. The first beam emitter and the second beam emitter move in unison between a plurality of positions to indicate a plurality of distances separating the first beam emitter and the second beam emitter from endpoints of beams emitted by the first beam emitter and the second beam emitter.

  • Publication number: 20110089265
Abstract: A hose coupling system includes a housing, a valve plug, and a locking mechanism. The housing has an inlet and an outlet, and a flow path between the inlet and the outlet. The valve plug is positioned within the housing along the flow path, and is rotatable between a closed orientation and an opened orientation. The closed orientation blocks the flow path and the opened orientation unblocks the flow path. The locking mechanism is designed to releasably fasten an instrument to the housing, where the locking mechanism is adjustable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking mechanism and the valve plug are coupled such that adjusting the locking mechanism to the unlocked position rotates the valve plug to the closed orientation.
