    Abstract: The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting cisplatin, carboplatin or oxaliplatin-sensitive and resistant tumorous cells comprising a combination of demethycantharidin with a platinum-containing anticancer agent and a use thereof. The invention also discloses synergistic effect of demethycantharidin or pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof in combination with platinum-containing anticancer agents in inhibiting cisplatin, carboplatin or oxaliplatin-sensitive and resistant tumorous cells.
