In the jaw assemblies, an actuator, such as a cover plate, covers at least a portion of one of opposing faces of the base ring, and one or more bridges connect the jaws to the actuator. Movement of the base ring relative to the actuator causes the jaws to pivot about the pivot pin axes, with the jaws moving in concert with each other thereby to reduce or expand the size of a work opening defined by the jaws.

Abstract: A disposable respirator comprising a strap fastening system that facilitates ease of donning and comfort during wear is disclosed. More specifically, the respirator comprises a fastening system including a pull-strap fastening component and a fastening component that are configured to provide a tight seal over the mouth and nose of the user, yet be easily donned and comfortable to wear. Additionally, the respirator includes fastening components that comprise exhalation vents that direct exhaled air, at least in part, away from a user's eyes.

Abstract: Disposable respirators comprising an adjustable or elastic strap and fastening components that facilitate ease of donning and comfort during wear are disclosed. More specifically, the respirator comprises a strap that is configured to have a retraction force sufficient to allow the respirator to adequately cover the mouth and nose of the user, yet be comfortable during wear. Additionally, the fastening components may comprise exhalation vents that direct exhaled air, at least in part, away from a user's eyes.

Abstract: A package, which can be substantially hexahedral, is composed of a flexible polymer material and contains a plurality of articles. The package includes a front face wall, a back face wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and two oppositely located end walls. A plurality of stacks of the articles are contained within the package, and the article stacks arranged to extend in a generally parallel, side-by-side configuration with each stack including a multiplicity of the articles. Each of the stacks is aligned along an appointed stacking direction of the package, and each of the stacks has opposed facing ends thereof contacting opposed walls of the package. A designated opening mechanism extends across a selected primary opening wall of the package and extends across at least a portion of each of a pair of oppositely located, complementary opening walls of the package.
