  • Patent number: 11977694
Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus, including a program encoded on computer-readable medium, for providing remote control of a light beam pointing device. The system includes a camera that captures at least one image at a first location and a light source that generates a light beam in a direction within a viewable area of the camera. At a second location, remote from the first location, a display screen displays images captured by the camera and a controller that controls pointing of the light source toward a desired target object at the first location.

  • Publication number: 20240134611
Abstract: Embodiments relate to interactive editing of a machine-generated document. A computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a processor, a machine-generated document and performing a comparison of a current state of the machine-generated document to a previous state. A user edit is identified as one or more user-replaced tokens of a previous token sequence based at least in part on the comparison. A new version of the machine-generated document is generated that includes the one or more user-replaced tokens and identifies one or more related tokens to replace with a suggested replacement token sequence associated with the one or more user-replaced tokens. A suggestion list is generated for display to the user in a graphical user interface to indicate the suggested replacement token sequence to replace the one or more related tokens.

  • Publication number: 20240133264
Abstract: A cementing system includes an inner string configured to be received into a casing string in a wellbore. The cementing system also includes a stinger coupled to the inner string and configured to be received into a float shoe connected to the casing string. The cementing system also includes a first retractable joint coupled to the inner string. The retractable joint is configured to reduce in axial length so as to permit at least part of stinger to be withdrawn from engagement with the float shoe while a weight of the inner string is supported by a hanger running tool and casing hanger connected to the casing. The inner string, the stinger, and the retractable joint form at least a part of a flowpath that extends through an end of the casing string at the float shoe.

  • Patent number: 8003713
Abstract: High concentrations of dye may be prepared in combination with thermoplastic polymers and used in optical polymers as monomeric and dimeric molecular solutions. The method of preparing high concentration levels allows the control over the aggregation of dye molecules that is required to maintain effective nonlinear operation. The present invention is applicable to many systems and is essential to the successful production of working optical limiting devices and other optically transparent polymeric devices, as well as other photonic applications, such as nonlinear optics.
