Abstract: Disclosed are a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for generating cross-border evaluation data for evaluating cross-border transactions within an online marketplace. A database interface module accesses aggregated sales data that is indicative of sales values linked to respective origin countries and respective destination countries. A transaction monitor module determines whether a transaction event satisfies a user notification rule linked to a user account that is indicative of an origin country. An analysis module generates, based at least on a selected portion of the aggregated sales data, cross-border evaluation data in response to a determination that the transaction event satisfies the user notification rule.

Abstract: Tracking objects with a grid of modular security and lighting devices includes triggering, based on event, a first sensor to begin capturing data of an object. The devices within the grid analyze captured sensor data such as first images of the object, and select, based on the analyzing, another sensor such as a second camera to begin capturing data of the object. Abstract: The present invention relates to materials and methods for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of gene expression during targeted differentiation of isolated homozygous stem cells, and to materials and methods for accumulating sequence tags sampled from a population of expressed genes. Abstract: A shock sensor sensitive to linear shocks along two axes and to rotational shocks in a given plane and comprised of two piezoelectric sensors and an integrated circuit is disclosed. The first piezoelectric sensor is polarized in a direction that is angularly offset from a plane in which the shock sensor lies and produces a first response to shocks having components along a first and a second orthogonal axis that define a plane perpendicular to the plane in which the shock sensor lies. The second piezoelectric sensor is polarized in a direction that is angularly offset from the plane in which the sensor lies and that is angularly offset 180.degree. from the first direction. The second piezoelectric sensor produces a second response to shocks having components along the first and second orthogonal axis. The integrated circuit is responsive to the first and second responses and produces a signal indicating a linear shock and a signal indicating a rotational shock by combining the first and second responses.
