Abstract: Supplier evaluation system for selecting a supplier for a project and/or monitoring a current supplier's performance. A supplier evaluation system first comprises a first database storing a plurality of inquiries and supplier contact information. The supplier candidates identify raters and those raters receive the inquiries over a computer network. The system provides a user interface for the rater to confidentially respond to the inquiries. The raters' responses are then electronically sent to one or more databases in the system and the system's database management system analyses the responses and makes them available to purchasing agents in a plurality of formats.

Abstract: A hanger assembly for suspending a pipe from a support comprises a J-hook engageable with the pipe. The hook has a vertically extending shank. A shank extension has a leg projecting vertically from a sleeve. The shank of the J-hook is configured and dimensioned for axial insertion to a selected extent into the sleeve. First fasteners serve to secure the thus inserted shank within the sleeve, and second fasteners serve to attach the leg to the support.

Abstract: A preferred embodiment of portable lunchbox equipment that is particularly useful at construction and other jobsites is disclosed which provides important desirable features and functionality comprising a housing, at least one charger for charging a removable battery pack, an audio unit for producing an audio signal, a heating unit, an insulated compartment, a cooling unit for the compartment, a cord and plug for connecting said apparatus to a source of AC power, and circuitry for selectively applying power to the audio unit, the charger and the heating unit.

Abstract: An audio power unit is disclosed which provides an audio output and charges removable battery packs as well as providing a number of AC receptacles for powering other tools and the like when the unit is connected to a source of AC power. The unit can optionally also provide DC power. When the unit is connected to a source of AC power, the AC power drives the audio unit which may be a radio or a combination radio and CD player and the AC source also powers a charger which recharges a battery pack if a battery pack is inserted into the charger receptacle. If the unit is not connected to a source of AC power, the radio may be powered by a battery pack when it is placed in the charger receptacle. When the unit is connected to a source of AC power, a relay is opened to isolate the radio unit from the charger and battery pack. The unit has a unique protective frame structure that is connected to the housing of the unit.
