  • Publication number: 20240118792
Abstract: A method for configuring a system having a wearable optical unit is disclosed. The method includes powering on the system, and in response to the system being powered on, using one or more processors to control the system to: determine whether to cause the system to run a configuration workflow, and in response to determining to cause the system to run the configuration workflow, (a) control the system in connection with configuring an interpupillary distance (IPD) for a user of the system, (b) determine whether the IPD is configured for the user, and (c) in response to determining that the IPD is configured for the user, control the system in connection with configuring a focus of the optical unit.

  • Patent number: 9506303
Abstract: A trailer mounted system for delivering a section of pipe or other tubular from a rack or staging area to a rig floor, or vice versa. A central beam is pivotally mounted to a trailer assembly and can be selectively raised or lowered relative the underlying trailer assembly. An extender beam, telescopically mounted to the central beam, can be selectively extended or retracted, while a trough member attached to the beams can be selectively partially rotated. Lateral pipe support rails can provide a base for selectively directing a pipe section towards or away from the trough. A safety system prevents inadvertent rotation of the trough when loaded with a section of pipe or other tubular, as well as inadvertent extension of the trough when rotated.

  • Publication number: 20050081463
Abstract: A door with a moveable window sash and a method of operating the same. The door includes vertical jambs with vertical channels. A window sash is movable in the vertical channels. A retractable screen assembly is attached to the door. The retractable screen assembly includes a roller, a flexible screen attached at a first end to the roller and at a second end to the movable window sash, and a biasing mechanism adapted to apply a continuous torque to the roller. The torque generates a positioning force on the window sash equal to at least 50% of the force of gravity acting on a window sash, such that the window sash can be positioned at an infinite number of locations along the vertical channels.
