    Abstract: A convergent spray nozzle for food applications is disclosed. The convergent spray nozzle may include a first conduit through which oil and compressed air are discharged. At least one second conduit is provided adjacent the first conduit and discharges powdered seasoning. Compressed air is used to create a stream carrying the seasoning through the conduit. The oil is discharged from first central conduit in a spray pattern, while the seasoning is discharged from the second conduit in spray patterns as well. The spray patterns overlap and converge in front of the spray nozzle assembly prior to deposition on the food product.

    Abstract: A convergent type of spray gun is made portable by miniaturizing the components with the addition of a double tube, fluid tip and air cap for defining the discharge nozzle for the first fluid and atomizing air. The other fluid nozzle for flowing another fluid is likewise miniaturized and is adapted to fit over the double tube, fluid tip and air cap arrangement by including a sleeve disposed therebetween. The main body is configured in either an L-shape or straight-through configuration. Although the component parts are miniaturized, the spray gun is capable of flowing coating mixture at the same rate as the larger version convergent spray gun.

    Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a material for use in a thermal protection system contains a silicone resin binder, a silicone catalyst, ground cork, glass ecospheres, and a silicone solvent. In a preferred embodiment, the material consists of from 65.3 wt % to 72.3 wt % silicone resin, from 6.5 wt % to 7.25 wt % silicone catalyst, from 7.22 wt % to 7.98 wt % ground cork, from 8.36 wt % to 9.24 wt % glass ecospheres, and the balance silicone solvent.
