  • Patent number: 11977412
Abstract: A variety of improvements to docking systems for portable computing devices are disclosed. For example, improved techniques for maintaining a data connection between a base portion of the docking system and a case portion of the docking system are disclosed. As an example, the docking system can include improved magnetics that help maintain the data connection between the base portion and the case portion, even during rotational movements of the case portion relative to the base portion. Further still, examples are described where the detection of a docking action between the case portion and the base portion can trigger any of a number of responsive actions.

  • Patent number: 7558040
Abstract: A limiter includes three current limiters. Each current limiter includes a first end disposed proximate a first housing surface and electrically connected to a corresponding first terminal, a second end disposed proximate a second housing surface and electrically connected to a corresponding second terminal, an elongated body disposed between the ends, and a plunger. Two plungers define a straight line and a third plunger is offset from the straight line. Three indicator members each include a first end, an indicator disposed therefrom, and an opposite second end, which is engaged by a corresponding plunger. The indicator is disposable through a corresponding housing opening. Three springs bias corresponding indicator members away from the second housing surface. The housing carries two indicator members in a first orientation and a third indicator member in a different second orientation. The indicators are positioned in a straight line and are disposable through corresponding housing openings.

  • Patent number: 5797436
Abstract: A filling machine (10) for filling into containers (30), by volume, weight, or level, of products requiring maintenance of a specified temperature. The filling machine includes a product reservoir (14), a filling nozzle (16), a pump (22) and suitable tubes (26, 28) for controlling the flow of product from the reservoir to the nozzle. The above parts are disposed within a double walled enclosure (62). A conveyor (44) having an upper flight (44.2) which supports containers (30) to be filled via the filling nozzle enters and exits the enclosure. A heater (138) is located outside of the enclosure and is connected to the enclosure through an insulated air duct (130) so that forced hot air may be used for heating the enclosure. A heat sensor (158) is provided within the enclosure for controlling the flow of air into the enclosure and also for regulating the output of the heater. The enclosure is provided with two aligned doors (96, 98), and when these doors are opened a blow down cycle is initiated.
