    Abstract: An access door is provided which may be easily installed. The door utilizes a mounting tape which is affixed between the door frame and the surface which supports the door as well as acting as a seal. The mounting tape allows installation by a single individual. The door may be further held in position by a minimal number of screws after being attached initially using the mounting tape. A core surround member may also be part of the door. The core surround covers a gap between the door and the door frame from view.
