  • Patent number: 5279376
Abstract: This invention provides a force neutralizing mechanism 500 coupled to a single lever control 10 and a transmission controlled by the lever 10 for overcoming the transmission linkage forces F.sub.2 associated with controls of a pair of mechanical transmissions 532 so that the mechanical transmissions 532 may be comfortably controlled by the single lever control 10.

  • Patent number: 5092819
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for determining the moisture content of grain to be harvested comprising the steps of reaping grain from grain bearing plants, threshing grain from the grain bearing plant, collecting the threshed grain in a hopper, and sensing the moisture content of the threshed grain prior to collection of the grain in the hopper.

  • Patent number: 4896506
Abstract: A vehicle includes at least a pair of drive wheels, each wheel being independently controlled by an integrated transmission, each transmission being powered by an input shaft operably driven by a common engine. Each transmission is of a type wherein a pump head with pistons is driven by the input shaft and conveys output fluid to a motor head which is driven thereby and rotates an output shaft. Pump head output is controlled by an operator variable swash plate. The transmission integrally includes a dampening mechanism for the swash plate, a positive neutral structure for the swash plate, an automatic parking brake with override mechanism to allow setting of the brake or release of the brake by the operator, a porting block communicating fluid flow between the pump heads and providing for overpressure relief, and a charge pump for communicating makeup fluid to the pump head and to circulate the fluid so as to cool same.

  • Patent number: 4750273
Abstract: A computer controlled grain dryer system includes a grain drying chamber, an air heater unit, and an arrangement of grain loading and unloading conveyors. A grain moisture sampling system receives a grain sample from the grain chamber and conveys the sample to a capacitive sample cell. A grain moisture meter measures grain moisture content as a function of the dielectric constant of the sample in the cell. A digital computer is interfaced with the moisture meter and the grain conveyor and is programmed to automatically control the grain sampling and the drying process. In continuous crossflow and concurrent flow dryers, the drying process is controlled by controlling the speed of grain flow. In batch type dryers, the process is controlled by way of the time that the grain is present in the drying chamber.
