Publication number: 20260115988Abstract: A method and system for perforating stretch film. The stretch film may be extruded using a cast film or blown film extrusion process. The stretch film may be passed over a first idler roller and moved in a first direction toward a perforation roller. The perforation roller may have a center axle and a plurality of perforation rings, each of which has an outer ring, a plurality of pins extending through the outer ring, and an inner ring configured to hold the plurality of pins in an extended position through the outer ring. The stretch film may be perforated with the perforation roller as the stretch film passes over the perforation roller. The perforated stretch film may be moved in a second direction away from the perforation roller, passed over a second idler roller, and wrapped about a core to form a roll of perforated stretch film.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2024Publication date: April 30, 2026Inventors: Darrel BISON, Steven D. Patent number: 6908546Abstract: A process is provided to produce water that will meet the specifications of the United States Pharmacopeia Inc. for Purified Water and Water for Injection, and water for dialysis as circumscribed by the American Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). The system has no storage tanks where stagnant water will be fouled by biofilm colonizing the tank surface. Water is circulated throughout the purification system and drawn as required, on demand. The water is purified and used immediately or recycled and repurified to ensure quality. Sanitation of the purification system, maintaining microbiological purity and cleaning is done by controlling the pH so that it is normally acidic by maintaining a high carbon dioxide concentration in solution, the carbon dioxide being allowed to pass into the permeate from a reverse osmosis membrane assembly used to purify the water.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2002Date of Patent: June 21, 2005Assignee: Bionomics LTDInventor: Steven D. Patent number: 6726946Abstract: The present invention is a convenient, aesthetically pleasing, multi-purpose container/beverage infuser that allows a user to store and brew beverages such as tea. The device includes a base container for storing the loose tea leaves prior to brewing. A lid is provided to seal the container so that the tea leaves may be preserved during storage. An infuser is removably attached to the base container. The infuser is shaped so that that it may be inverted over a drinking container and receive a predetermined amount of fresh tea leaves to be steeped. Clips are coupled to the infuser so that the infuser may be retained in the inverted position over the drinking container during the brewing process. A cap is placed on top of the infuser when assembled and may be invertedly placed on a stable surface to hold the infuser after use to prevent excess dripping.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2003Date of Patent: April 27, 2004Assignee: Tazo Tea Co.Inventor: Steven D.
