  • Publication number: 20250149839
Abstract: A connector assembly includes first and second connectors. Each connector has a plurality of terminals spatially distributed around an axis of a circularly symmetric surface. The second connector further includes diodes to control the direction of current flow between the terminals and an outflow point and an inflow point. The number of first terminals does not equal the number of second terminals such that, when the first and second surfaces are connected, regardless of the rotational orientation of the first surface with respect to the second surface, each pair of first terminals are electrically connected to the inflow and outflow points; and no pair of first terminals are electrically connected to the same second terminal.

  • Publication number: 20250114516
Abstract: An intravenous line connector assembly has a first and second connectors, each having a lumen and an electrical terminal. When the first connector is connected to the second connector, the first lumen is connected to the second lumen to allow fluid communication between the first and second connectors, and the first terminals are connected with the second terminals to allow electrical signals to pass between the first and second connectors. These connectors allow an intravenous line network to be formed which carried both fluids and electrical signals. The electrical signals can then be used to communicate between components of the intravenous line network to help improve the care of the patient.

  • Publication number: 20230057019
Abstract: A device for enclosing a positive end valve (PEEP valve) and converting the PEEP valve to an inline valve for use in a differential multi-ventilation system is described. The device includes a housing configured to enclose the PEEP valve. The housing also includes a ventilator-side arm, a pass-through arm and a patient-side arm. The pass-through arm permits extension of the multi-ventilation system to add one or more patients to the system.
