    Abstract: A load bracing system and method for securing cargo within a transport container such as intermodal containers which incorporates woven polyethylene load restraining strips and load shifting devices such as dunnage bags. The load restraining strips are adapted to be banded around an unconfined end of the cargo while the load shifting devices are intended to shift the loads to induce tension in the load restraining strips, thereby securely restraining the cargo.
