Patent number: 12053713Abstract: A handheld novelty device that utilizes a bag structure having a first flexible plastic sheet and a second flexible plastic sheet. At least part of the bag structure is transparent so that the contents of the bag structure can be viewed. The first flexible plastic sheet is molded or bonded to the second flexible plastic sheet in selected areas. This defines a plurality of interconnected chambers in the bag structure. The interconnected chambers include a first chamber, a second chamber and a meandering pathway that interconnects the first chamber to the second chamber. Flow material is provided that at least partially fills the plurality of interconnected chambers. The flow material can be a liquid with floating solids, or a slurry of solids and liquids. The flow material is displaced within the plurality of interconnected chambers when at least one of the plurality of interconnected chambers is compressed.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 2022Date of Patent: August 6, 2024Assignee: Plan C, LLCInventors: Kevin Williams, Steven Edward Walterscheid

Publication number: 20240245982Abstract: A game assembly having a fluid pouch with a flexible front panel that is bonded to a rear panel in selected areas. The bonding acts to define an enlarged play area, at least one pump bulb, and at least one fluid passage. The fluid pouch is filled with a liquid medium and game pieces. A housing covers the flexible front panel of the fluid packet leaving at least part of the enlarged play area and at least one pump bulb exposed. Each pump bulb creates a flow jet in the fluid medium when compressed. The flow jet causes the game pieces to move within the liquid medium. The game pieces interact with stationary features to obtain points or to show gameplay skill. The flexible front panel is transparent and is flexible enough to readily deform when manually touched. Accordingly, when touched, the enlarged play area is selectively altered.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 17, 2024Publication date: July 25, 2024Inventors: Kevin Williams, Steven Edward Walterscheid

Patent number: 10507397Abstract: A vibrating toy assembly that can travel along a surface in an unpredictable pattern. The toy assembly is powered by a vibration mechanism. The vibration mechanism has a motor and batteries that are held with a housing. The vibration mechanism is placed into a hollow casing. The hollow casing defines an internal compartment. Once activated, the vibration mechanism vibrates and moves the casing. This causes the overall toy assembly to move in random patterns.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2018Date of Patent: December 17, 2019Assignee: FSD, LLCInventor: Steven Edward Walterscheid

Patent number: 10406449Abstract: A vibrating toy assembly that can travel along a surface in an unpredictable pattern. The toy assembly is powered by a vibration mechanism. The vibration mechanism has a motor and batteries that are held in a housing. The vibration mechanism is placed into a hollow casing. The hollow casing defines an internal compartment. Once activated, the vibration mechanism vibrates and changes orientation within the casing. As the vibration mechanism changes orientations, the movement patterns of the casing are altered. This causes the overall toy assembly to move in random patterns.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2018Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: FSD, LLCInventor: Steven Edward Walterscheid

Patent number: 9895620Abstract: A spinner assembly that is spun by a user's hand. The spinner assembly has a central roller bearing. The roller bearing has an inner race and an outer race that are capable of rotating relative each other about a common center of rotation. An annular hub is coupled to the outer race. The annular hub rotates with the outer race. A first spin arm extends from the annular hub and rotates with the annular hub. A second spin arm extends from the annular hub and rotates with the annular hub. A first light module is mounted to the first spin arm that activates as the first spin arm rotates.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2016Date of Patent: February 20, 2018Assignee: FSD, LLCInventor: Steven Edward Walterscheid

Patent number: 9895579Abstract: A skill toy that is juggled, spun, and flipped in one hand or between both hands. The skill toy has two subassemblies that each contains a rounded translucent shell. The translucent shell surrounds an internal illumination unit, wherein the rounded translucent shell has a maximum diameter of under two inches. The illumination units are motion activated and contain lights. A tether joins the subassemblies together. The tether can be selectively attached to, and detached from, the two subassemblies. The tether has a length of between four inches and six inches, so it is just long enough to span the back of a hand.Type: GrantFiled: August 3, 2016Date of Patent: February 20, 2018Assignee: FSD, LLCInventor: Steven Edward Walterscheid

Publication number: 20180036614Abstract: A skill toy that is juggled, spun, and otherwise manipulated with one hand. The ball construct is joined to a finger loop with a tether. The tether has a length that is between ten centimeters and fifteen centimeters. This enables the tether to wrap around half a user's hand from the center of the back of the hand to the palm. The diameter of the ball construct and the unique length of the tether enable the toy to be rapidly juggled in a novel manner.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2017Publication date: February 8, 2018Inventor: Steven Edward Walterscheid

Publication number: 20170106302Abstract: A posable toy figure having a body, a head, and limbs that are held together by at least one elastic cord. The limbs are comprised of limb pieces that are also held together by the elastic cords. Each limb has multiple flat contact surfaces. Each limb is biased against the body at an abutment joint. Each limb is selectively moveable about the abutment joint into one of a few stable orientations relative the body. In each of the different stable orientations, a different one of the flat contact surfaces of a limb abuts against the body. Limb pieces create secondary abutment joints that enable the limbs to be configured into different stable poses. This provides the toy figure with a large, yet limited, number of posable configurations. The various posable configurations are readily indexed and can be easily repeated.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 26, 2016Publication date: April 20, 2017Inventors: Peter John Cummings, Steven Edward Walterscheid

Patent number: 9566532Abstract: A rolling toy assembly that has a hollow body. The hollow body has an interior and a bottom surface with an open window that accesses the interior. A spherical mass is disposed within the interior of the hollow body. The spherical mass is too large to pass completely through the open window. An eccentric weight is coupled to the hollow body. The eccentric weight biases the hollow body into a tilted position wherein the bottom surface and the window are tilted at an angle of inclination. This enables the toy assembly to roll over small obstacles. A play platform is provided. The play platform has a top surface that defines at least one concavity. The concavity is surrounded by a peripheral rim bump. The toy assembly is placed on the play platform and is caused to roll by manually manipulating the play platform.Type: GrantFiled: April 27, 2016Date of Patent: February 14, 2017Assignee: FSD, LLCInventors: Steven Edward Walterscheid, Leopold Elias Walterscheid
