  • Patent number: 9191227
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a method and system is provided to determine and advertise a route advertisement in a reactive routing environment. In response to receiving a network address query with respect to a destination address at a routing device, an aggregate value, e.g. an address prefix, is determined and advertised in reply to the network address query. Determining of the aggregate value may comprise identifying within a range of network addresses represented by the aggregate value respective addresses for which the routing device does not have reachability information. The routing device may send address queries with respect to the identified addresses, to determine reachability via the routing device of those addresses. The aggregate value may be advertised conditional upon determining that a percentage of addresses within the corresponding range that can be reached via the routing device satisfies a predefined minimal coverage value.

  • Publication number: 20150324183
Abstract: Aspects of the subject matter described herein relate to generating and caching software code. In aspects, a target device may receive software to install. The software may include source code that has not been compiled. The target device may install the software and indicate the source code of the package is to be compiled into intermediate or executable code that is persistently stored. If the target device receives a request to execute the software prior to it being compiled, the target device may compile and execute the software without delay. If the target device receives a request to execute the software after it is compiled, the target device may obtain and execute the compiled code. The behavior above may also be applied to scripting code obtained from a server remote to the target device.

  • Patent number: 9174484
Abstract: A rollable paint tray which will be maneuvered on a floor by the painter manipulating an extended handle of a paint roller assembly is disclosed. The tray will have a body, a plurality of rolling members and a structural configuration which permits placement of the paint roller on the tray where it will remain in contact during maneuvering of the tray by the painter. The body has a paint containment area, a paint roller containment area and a rolling surface area. The painter may easily replenish fresh paint on the paint roller and roll the paint roller to obtain a desired quantity and uniformity of coverage on the paint roller. The tray permits the painter to paint a large area, along a great distance, while remaining standing straight. This eliminates the conventional need for the painter to manually move their supply of fresh paint which often involves bending or squatting.

  • Publication number: 20150310659
Abstract: An embodiment provides a mobile application that animates change information in a way that specifically indicates a change in workflow information for various users. This animation of change information permits users, which are often busy healthcare professionals, to be quickly apprised of relevant changes to workflow status. The mobile application also allows users to communicate change information, e.g., for updating the status of a workflow item, which may then be propagated throughout a network, including mobile devices.

  • Patent number: 9146619
Abstract: A bidirectional text display method embodied in a functional programming language which first assigns bidirectional attributes to a logical character stream. Next, through explicit processing, level numbers are assigned, honoring any directional overrides present in the logical character stream. Subsequent weak and neutral type processing potentially causes attribute types to change based upon surrounding attribute types. Then, implicit processing assigns final level numbers to the stream which control reordering. Finally, reordering processing produces a sequence of characters in display order. By separating the facets of layout dealing with reordering from those that are concerned with rendering, such as line breaking, glyph selection, and shaping, the Haskell-based method is more discernible and comprehendable, thereby allowing it to be more useful as a model upon which others may base bidirectional implementations.

  • Patent number: 9082925
Abstract: A method of fabricating a solar cell is disclosed. The method includes forming a polished surface on a silicon substrate and forming a first flowable matrix in an interdigitated pattern on the polished surface, where the polished surface allows the first flowable matrix to form an interdigitated pattern comprising features of uniform thickness and width. In an embodiment, the method includes forming the silicon substrate using a method such as, but not limited to, of diamond wire or slurry wafering processes. In another embodiment, the method includes forming the polished surface on the silicon substrate using a chemical etchant such as, but not limited to, sulfuric acid (H2SO4), acetic acid (CH3COOH), nitric acid (HNO3), hydrofluoric acid (HF) or phosphoric acid (H3PO4). In still another embodiment, the etchant is an isotropic etchant. In yet another embodiment, the method includes providing a surface of the silicon substrate with at most 500 nanometer peak-to-valley roughness.

  • Publication number: 20150157533
Abstract: A sterile glass pharmaceutical container or vessel such as, but not limited to, vials for holding pharmaceutical products or vaccines in a hermetic and/or sterile state. The sterile glass pharmaceutical container undergoes a strengthening process that produces compression at the surface and tension within the container wall. The strengthening process is designed such that the tension within the wall is great enough to ensure catastrophic failure of the pharmaceutical container, thus rendering the product unusable, should sterility be compromised by a through-wall crack. The tension is greater than a threshold central tension, above which catastrophic failure of the pharmaceutical container is guaranteed, thus eliminating any potential for violation of pharmaceutical integrity or sterility (such as stable cracks) in the glass packaging which are not easily identifiable in an otherwise seemingly intact pharmaceutical container.
