  • Patent number: 4365345
Abstract: A fluoroscopic table having a table top for supporting a patient for irradiation by X-rays generated by a source located beneath the table top, which X-rays are directed through the table top and patient to a receptor located above the patient, the receptor comprising a heavy image intensifier and spot filming device, for example, movable longitudinally and transversely of the table, and the X-ray source comprising a heavy X-ray generator and collimator which are movable as a unit longitudinally and transversely of the table for constant alignment with the receptor, the mountings for the receptor and source being separate from one another and the movements thereof being individually controlled by servo mechanisms whereby precise alignment is automatically achieved and maintained.

  • Patent number: 4208586
Abstract: A fluoroscopic table having an electrically operated motor for moving the heavy fluoroscopic staging in a direction longitudinally of the table, the motor being controlled by a drive circuit which produces a constant output torque at the motor shaft which is of a predetermined value slightly less than the effort necessary to automatically initiate motion of the staging whereby an operator may apply only a slight amount of effort to cause such motion and will retain a natural "feel" of control.

  • Patent number: 4072865
Abstract: An automatic control system is provided for regulating the emission of an X-ray tube of the type which is activated by the heating of a cathode filament by passing current through the filament, and which emits X-ray radiation systematically in accordance with the amount of tube current flowing between the anode and cathode of the tube, with a relatively high voltage being applied between the anode and cathode. Current is passed through the filament and a tube current sensor is coupled to the X-ray tube for developing a tube current signal representative of the magnitude of the current flowing between the cathode and anode of the X-ray tube. Coupled to the current sensing circuit and responsive to the tube current signal is a circuit for generating a filament current control signal.
