Abstract: A system and method for processing particulars of a transaction over a network. The system comprises a supply chain tracking module for receiving supply chain event data from at least one supply chain monitor, the supply chain data relating to the condition or location of an item along a supply chain. The system also comprises a term and requirements module for receiving initial terms and requirements associated with the transaction and for generating modified terms and requirements based on supply chain event data and on at least one value algorithm, the modified terms and requirements being generated while the item is still in the supply chain.

Abstract: A telephone call center system for directing incoming calls from callers to agents includes first and second call center switches such as ACDs and PBXs. The first switch has a configuration corresponding to call distribution rules such that the first switch distributes incoming calls from callers to the agents in accordance with the call distribution rules. A synchronizer is in communication with the switches for determining the configurations of the switches. Upon the synchronizer determining that the configuration of the second switch is different than the configuration of the first switch the synchronizer replicates the configuration of the first switch to the second switch such that the second switch has the same configuration as the first switch whereby both switches distribute incoming calls to the agents in accordance with the call distribution rules.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing error isolation in a multi-domain computer system. The system includes a plurality of system resources allocated to form at least a first and second domain. The system resources of the first domain perform a set of transactions independent from a set of transactions performed by the system resources of the second domain. The system further comprises at least one interface for coupling one system resource from the first domain and one system resource from the second domain. The at least one interface tracks the set of transactions performed by the one system resource of the first domain and the one system resource of the second domain independently from one another.
