Publication number: 20230201385Abstract: The invention relates to a non-invasive imaging method of bacteria. One embodiment comprises labeling the bacteria with a radioisotope, then delivering it to the gut of a human or animal. Another embodiment is to label bacteriophages, then administer them to a human or animal, so that they infect (and thus co-localize with) bacteria already resident in the human or animal. The bacteriophage can then be imaged, showing the location of the resident bacteria of interest. In another embodiment, the invention is related more generally to the labelling of bacteria or bacteriophages with a radio-metal or radioisotope to render the labeled gut bacteria and the bacteria in the body visible to nuclear medicine PET and SPECT imaging guided by functional/structural MRI and/or CT imaging.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Donna E. Patent number: 10218853Abstract: A wireless conference call telephone system uses body-worn wired or wireless audio endpoints comprising microphones and, optionally, speakers. These audio-endpoints, which include headsets, pendants, and clip-on microphones to name a few, are used to capture the user's voice and the resulting data may be used to remove echo and environmental acoustic noise. Each audio-endpoint transmits its audio to the telephony gateway, where noise and echo suppression can take place if not already performed on the audio-endpoint, and where each audio-endpoint's output can be labeled, integrated with the output of other audio-endpoints, and transmitted over one or more telephony channels of a telephone network. The noise and echo suppression can also be done on the audio-endpoint. The labeling of each user's output can be used by the outside caller's phone to spatially locate each user in space, increasing intelligibility.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2011Date of Patent: February 26, 2019Inventors: Gregory C. Patent number: 8737875Abstract: The present application is directed to methods and devices for moving a cartridge between engaged and disengaged positions in an image forming device. The image forming device may include a bias control arm movable between first and second positions. When the bias control arm is in one of the first and second positions, a biasing force on the cartridge is reduced and the cartridge moves to the disengaged position. When the bias control arm is in the other of the first and second positions, a biasing force on the cartridge is increased and the cartridge is moved to the engaged position. In one embodiment, the bias control arm moves in a first direction, and the cartridge moves in a second direction different than the first direction.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2012Date of Patent: May 27, 2014Assignee: Lexmark International, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Lawrence Tonges, Larry Steven Foster, William Paul Cook, Michael Hayes Wilson

Publication number: 20140126938Abstract: An imaging device is shown, including a plurality of color imaging units, each color imaging unit selectively depositing toner forming a distinct color toner image; an intermediate transfer member for cooperating with the color imaging units such that the color toner images are deposited thereon; and a black imaging unit for depositing black toner having a photoconductive member on which the black toner is deposited to form a black toner image. The intermediate transfer member and the black imaging unit are configured so that during a color print operation, color toner images deposited on the intermediate transfer member are deposited therefrom onto the photoconductive member of the black imaging unit, and the color toner images and the black toner image are subsequently deposited onto a to media sheet.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2012Publication date: May 8, 2014Applicant: LEXMARK INTERNATIONAL, INC.Inventors: Andrew Charles Hogan, Larry Steven Foster, Niko Jay Murell
