    Abstract: A hitch for allowing a trailer to be first disconnected from a vehicle, to be then jacked so it is level with the support surface, and then be automatically jacked back to the level of the vehicle so that it can be easily reconnected to the vehicle. A switch is pivotally associated with the trailer for movement in a plane parallel to a vertical plane extending along the longitudinal axis of the trailer. A lock is provided for locking the switch in any one of an infinite number of positions with the longitudinal axis of the switch in the plane parallel to the vertical plane extending along the longitudinal axis of the trailer.
