  • Patent number: 10731001
Abstract: A method for treating a shear-thinning residue composition deriving from the synthesis of an aryl ether ketone, the residue composition including a liquid fraction and solid residues, the method including the steps of: passing said shear-thinning residue composition through a shear-generating evaporating device, between a rotating part and a stationary part; and recovering a condensed liquid fraction and separately recover concentrated solid residues.

  • Patent number: 10389314
Abstract: A digital power amplifier comprises: an integrated circuit (IC2); an adaption circuit of discrete components connected to first and second transmission output pins of an integrated circuit to adapt the output signal and feed a substantial sinusoidal output current with a transmission resonance frequency to an RFID antenna. IC2 comprises a digital control section with N wave-forming contacts to output a digital wave-forming bit combination of N bits with a clock frequency M-times the transmission resonance frequency; N driver blocks each connected with a first contact to one of the wave-forming contacts and N/2 of them connected with a second contact to the first transmission output pin and the other N/2 of them connected with their second contact to the second transmission output pin. The driver blocks provide increments of the substantial sinusoidal output current to the first and second transmission output pins.

  • Patent number: 10354345
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems, including computer program products, for determining a load control schedule for energy control devices using a load shifting optimization model and applying the load control schedule to adjust the energy control devices. A server receives thermodynamic models, energy price data and energy load forecast data. The server generates price probability distribution curves based upon the price data and load probability distribution curves based upon the load forecast data. The server executes a load shifting optimization model to determine a profit probability distribution curve for demand response decision rules. The server determines a profit curve that has an optimal profit value. The server generates a load control schedule based upon the optimal profit curve and generates operational parameters for energy control devices using the load control schedule. The server transmits the operational parameters to the energy control devices to adjust operational parameters.

  • Patent number: 6066760
Abstract: A process is disclosed for the efficient production of high purity alkane sulfonic acid and/or alkane sulfonyl chloride product wherein a compound of the formula RSX, where X is hydrogen or --SR.sup.1 and R and R.sup.1 are alkyl radicals is continuously reacted with chlorine in aqueous hydrochloric acid to produce a turbulent evolution of hydrochloride gas, passing the reactants through stationary mixing elements to promote plug-flow, and separately withdrawing a product. Apparatus for this process is also disclosed.
