  • Publication number: 20240090721
Abstract: A robotic cleaner includes a housing, a suction conduit with an opening, and a leading roller mounted in front of a brush roll. An inter-roller air passageway may be defined between the leading roller and the brush roll wherein the lower portion of the leading roller is exposed to a flow path to the suction conduit and an upper portion of the leading roller is outside of the flow path. Optionally, a combing unit includes a plurality of combing protrusions extending into the leading roller and having leading edges not aligned with a center of the leading roller. Optionally, a sealing strip is located along a rear side of the opening and along a portion of left and right sides of the opening. The underside may define side edge vacuum passageways extending from the sides of the housing partially between the leading roller and the sealing strip towards the opening.

  • Publication number: 20210184357
Abstract: A sum and difference mode antenna includes a first radiator, a second radiator, a first excitation source, and a second excitation source. The first radiator includes a first segment, a second segment, and a gap formed between the first segment and the second segment, and the first excitation source is configured to feed the first radiator, so that currents in the first segment and the second segment both flow in a first direction. The second radiator includes a third segment, a fourth segment, and a fifth segment. The third segment and the fourth segment are symmetrically distributed on two sides of a connection end of the fifth segment, and the second excitation source is electrically connected to a feed end of the fifth segment to feed the second radiator.

  • Publication number: 20180161376
Abstract: This invention relates to compositions and methods for enhanced differentiation of cells towards a neuronal phenotype. Neuronal cells produced using the compositions and methods may be used in the study of neurological diseases and disorders, for drug screening and for therapeutic purposes. The invention provides a method for producing a neuron comprising inducing neuronal differentiation of a cell, wherein neuronal differentiation in said cell is induced by inhibition of Small Mothers Against Decapentaplegic (SMAD) signaling and nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in said cell.

  • Publication number: 20060129070
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and article of manufacture provide the ability to utilize fingertip tracking technology during the course of a medical examination. A sensor is mounted on a fingertip of a finger of a first person. Such a sensor is communicatively coupled to a computer to record measurements. The sensor is calibrated using a known target. The finger having the sensor is then engaged to perform a medical examination directly on a second person. Measurements are obtained from the sensor on the fingertip during the medical examination. Data is obtained (e.g., via calculations or interpolation) based on the measurements.
