  • Patent number: 10389828
Abstract: In one general aspect, a system and method are described for generating a classification model to determine predictive user behavior. The method may include obtaining data from a mobile network provider. The data including a plurality of utilization metrics pertaining to a plurality of mobile devices carrying out a plurality of network interactions, the plurality of mobile devices being associated with a plurality of users. The method may also include categorizing the data into a plurality of Internet domains associated with the data and determining a plurality of patterns in the data. The method may further include determining an additional pattern in the data, and generating a plurality of rules based on the plurality of patterns and the additional pattern.

  • Patent number: 10257673
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for delivering messages using enterprise numbers. In an embodiment, a messaging system may facilitate two-way communication between enterprises and end user devices through the user of shared enterprise numbers. Multiple content providers and/or service providers may use the shared enterprise numbers to reach a wide range of end user devices. The end user devices may be, for example, telephones capable of communicating via short message service (SMS). The messaging system may assign enterprise numbers based on sessions to avoid conflicts when receiving reply messages. In an embodiment, the messaging system may assign enterprise numbers so received replies may be returned to corresponding enterprises without relying on keywords to be present in the reply message.

  • Publication number: 20190065724
Abstract: Techniques are provided for providing multi-factor authentication with Uniform Resource Locator (URL) validation (MFAUV). One of the multiple authentication factors used may include a unique, user-specific URL that is sent to the user within a message. In this way, the user may simply click on, or otherwise execute or select, the provided URL, directly from within the message in which the URL is provided.

  • Publication number: 20170348604
Abstract: An interlocking toy building block includes a first block body and a first magnet positioned therein a first distance from a first outer surface thereof to provide a first predetermined magnetic polarity to the first outer surface. When the first outer surface is brought into close proximity with a second outer surface of a second block body having a second magnet positioned a second distance therein and exhibiting a second predetermined magnetic polarity opposing the first predetermined magnetic polarity, the first outer surface is configured to mate with the second outer surface in an interlocking position. A potential magnetic force Fm between the pair of magnets is determined by the formulation: Fm=Fo e?rd where Fo is the initial force (i.e., no separation distance between magnets), and e?rd is the exponential function of the rate of decay “r” of the magnets and the distance “d” between the magnets.

  • Publication number: 20030213081
Abstract: A hand-mounted eraser for usage upon chalkboards, blackboards, markerboards, and similar flat surfaces. In the preferred mode of the invention, an elongated eraser is attached to the hand by a ring member around the smallest finger and strap member around the wrist. The eraser is configured generally parallel to the smallest finger, running along the exterior thereof. This allows the user to comfortably write at a workboard while wearing the eraser. As such, the invention provides great convenience, as the user need not put down a writing instrument to pick up an eraser while using the workboard. An additional benefit of the present invention lies in the fact that the eraser prevents chalk, ink, or markings from a user's hand from being placed on additional objects, such as transparencies used in connection with overhead projectors.

  • Publication number: 20030028587
Abstract: A system processes and stores electronic messages, voice, facsimile, and other data, in a common network architecture having high availability, high throughput, modularity, and linear scalability. The system has the ability to split processing among multiple server machines without having to split data. Electronic messages and other data are organized into folders for individual usernames. A folder daemon resident on a server utilizes a hashing algorithm to convert a username into a hash value corresponding to the folder under a directory of folders for the network's storage devices under which the electronic messages and other data are stored. Using the hashing algorithm, the folder daemon produces a statistically even distribution of folders across the network's storage devices. The folder daemon acts as a file system abstraction layer for the network. Unique numeric identification numbers are associated with the messages and other data in each folder.

  • Patent number: 4709428
Abstract: A cover for a bathtub/shower soap-holding fixture comprising a shield which wraps around the exterior of the soap-holding fixture and attaches to and rotates about the U-shaped handle of the soap-holding fixture. The invention further comprises a plug which is inserted into the top open space between the U-shaped handle and the wall portion of the fixture. The shield and plug combination prevent water spray from entering the soap dish fixture during a bath or shower, thus preserving soap contained in the soap tray.
