  • Patent number: 10503715
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for enabling application search through the use of programmatic application state indexing. The disclosed technologies enable applications to be systematically explored using a program to identify the various states of the application. For example, UI displays provided by an application can be explored and text or other content can be captured from each UI display. The text or other content can then be indexed and utilized to search applications and to navigate directly to specific application states.

  • Patent number: 9934019
Abstract: Technology for converting an application function to a service is provided. In one example, a method may include analyzing an application to identify a function of the application including logic. The method may further include extracting the function from the application. The function may be uploaded to a service provider environment to be implemented as an application service. A function access wrapper for the function may be retrieved from the service provider environment. The function access wrapper may be configured to call the application service in the service provider environment to execute the logic in the service provider environment and to receive a result of execution of the logic from the application service. The function access wrapper may be inserted into the application in the place of the function.

  • Patent number: 9823134
Abstract: A decoupling radiant and convective heat sensing device, and a decoupling radiant and convective heat sensing device with a means for performing calculations and then determining a heat flux and an ambient temperature using formulas or reference tables, and also with a means for alerting a person of hazardous fire conditions based on a calculated heat flux and ambient temperature.

  • Patent number: 9740598
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed herein for providing live testing of applications based upon a debug keystore. An application developer develops an application and registers with an application store. A public portion of a debug keystore may be used to generate a digital signature to sign the application in order to allow for live testing of the application at the application store with respect to various components of the application. In this way, live testing can occur without the need for publication and approval of the application by the application store. Additionally, use of the debug keystore may allow for live testing of the application to occur without the application developer incurring in-application purchase fees.

  • Patent number: 9678726
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for automatic generation of plugins for development tools. A platform-independent model is obtained for software functionality such as an application programming interface (API) to a software development kit (SDK). A platform-specific plugin is generated for a development environment based at least in part on the platform-independent model. The platform-specific plugin provides the software functionality for a particular platform of multiple platforms.

  • Patent number: 9195457
Abstract: Documentation for an application programming interface may include a source code portion. Input may be received from a user of the documentation indicating a request to see a simulated result of executing the source code portion. A set of instructions corresponding to the source code portion may be loaded. State dependencies of the set of instructions may be resolved to form an execution environment for the instructions. Simulated results for executing the source code portion may be obtained by executing the instructions based on the execution environment.
