  • Publication number: 20230392615
Abstract: A bleed system including control circuitry and a variable jet pump. The control circuitry is configured to receive a signal indicative of a fluid parameter in the bleed system and cause the jet pump to alter a mixing ratio of a higher pressure gas and a lower pressure gas based on the signal. The jet pump is configured to combine the lower pressure gas and the higher pressure gas in the mixing ratio to generate a mixed gas. The jet pump is configured to supply the mixed gas to one or more gas loads in the bleed system. In examples, the control circuitry is configured to establish a system setpoint for the fluid parameter based on an operating status of the one or more gas loads.

  • Patent number: 10383176
Abstract: In one embodiment, a hair lightening wand is provided, which includes an upper arm and lower arms having upper and lower heating plates, respectively. The arms are pivotally connected by a hinge. The upper and lower heating plates are separated by a gap of a fixed distance along an entire length of the upper and lower heating plates when the upper and lower arms are in a fully closed position. The gap between the upper and lower heating plates is unobstructed in a direction transverse to the upper and lower arms along a length of the upper and lower heating plates.

  • Patent number: 9472069
Abstract: A single Point of Recordation Terminal (PORT) is disclosed. The PORT is configured to detect one or more events of interest, generate one or more representations of the event and establish the timing relationship among the multiple representations of the event of interest. The PORT is further configured to associate a unique ID of the PORT with the representations, encrypt and upload the representations to the cloud.

  • Patent number: 8558888
Abstract: A video surveillance terminal avoids network congestion. The camera lowers exposure to unauthorized operation. Each apparatus discards unviewed higher resolution streams unless expressly desired by a host user. The client of the service determines an event of interest, selects an extent of data to represent the event, and derives a compact representation by video encoding and compression.

  • Publication number: 20110055895
Abstract: A highly secure sensory stream event server receiving and storing encrypted assets and references to those assets over a non-proprietary communications channel. A system for selectively decrypting and transmitting references to analysis clients such as authenticated mutually unconscious users, and retrieving, decrypting and transmitting certain assets from high-volume storage, distributed storage, or in transit. A method for controlling a plurality of sensory stream event recordation clients and a plurality of analysis clients transmitting policies and commands requesting upload of assets and obtaining status solely by receiving client initiated sessions.

  • Publication number: 20060265510
Abstract: A method of batching multiple sets of responses on a server and sending the responses to a client in a single batch (i.e., a “chained” or “packed” batch). The sets of responses may be each be obfuscated and/or compressed. Once the batch is received by the client, each set is processed individually. The client may be configured to communicate the size of an uncompressed set of responses that it can handle. The server may use this information to create sets of responses that are the correct size, and may or may not compress the sets of responses. The server may chain the sets of responses and may continue to chain sets, compressed or not, until the server's buffer is full or close to full. The chained set of responses may then be sent to the client, and may process each of the sets of responses individually.

  • Patent number: 6053290
Abstract: A disc brake rotor for motor vehicles, having a dual web structural support for connecting a pair of brake discs to a rotor hub that is positioned centrally within the brake rotor without lateral offset. The dual web structural support creates a fanning effect that draws a flow of cooling air between the brake discs. Air flow is further promoted by providing connective ribs located between the brake discs with a shape that produces a pressure drop across the discs and thereby draws cooling air between the discs.
