    Abstract: A chain saw comprising an oil container for storage of lubricating oil, the container having an oval neck through which the container can be filled with a lubricating oil and a cap for sealing the neck of the container wherein the cap comprises a body having at least one elastically spreadable band located around the body along at least part of the length of the body and an actuating mechanism which is capable of moving the band from a relaxed inner position to a spread outer position into engagement of the inner surface of the neck of the container when the body of the cap is located within the neck of the container.
