  • Patent number: 11468342
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and using knowledge graphs are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor a method for generating a knowledge graph may include: (1) receiving data from at least one data source; (2) identifying facts in the data; (3) generating a relationship triple for each fact, wherein the relationship triples identify a subject, a predicate, and an object; and (4) populating the knowledge graph comprising nodes and edges with the relationship triples, wherein the nodes represent the subjects and the objects, and the edges represent the predicates, wherein each edge is associated with a weighting indicating a strength of the predicate relationship between the subject and the object.

  • Patent number: 11074278
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory machine readable media, and search engine devices are disclosed that annotate documents based on concepts and a generated composite score for each of the concepts. The concepts have an association with terms included in the documents. A query that includes at least one of the terms is received, and an associated concept and at least one additional related concept are identified in order to expand the query. The identified concepts are then applied to the annotated documents to generate a search result in response to the expanded query. This technology advantageously facilitates improved automated searching (e.g., across dialects and languages) and enables improved search result faceting.

  • Patent number: 10453019
Abstract: A Business Activity Resource modeling system and method is disclosed that simplifies the conceptual modeling approach, allows for the reuse of model components and for efficient testing, and meets various other industry needs. By utilizing a plurality of Business Activity Resource units (BARs) that are associated with a number of business rules, events, objects and terms, any number of business activities may be completed to meet important business requirements. The disclosed modeling engine models the business activities using at least one processor and is configured to perform a number of actions, including receiving modeling input from a user, generating the business model based on the modeling input of the business activity model, storing the business activity model in a model data repository and generating executable code corresponding to the business activity model to perform any number of business processes.
