Publication number: 20250084693Abstract: A tight-coiling rolling grille link and rolling grille system. Curved links are interconnected in vertical rows for a required height of the grille, rows are spaced apart for a required width of the grille, horizontal rods are inserted through aligned holes in the links, tubes are placed intermittently over the rods between the rows of links to maintain even spacing, and ends of the rods are mechanically secured to hold the rolling grille curtain together. The links of the grille are identical and are attached symmetrically via a tab and notch linkage scheme. The system prioritizes coiling as tightly as possible to fit in as little space above the opening as possible.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 6, 2024Publication date: March 13, 2025Inventors: Steven Hahn, Paul Freberg, Paul Lawrence

Patent number: 9746289Abstract: A rolling door slat designed to deflect, redirect or absorb severe force is disclosed. The present invention utilizes a double slat design with layered joints, and an open volume enclosing a reinforced core. The reinforced core of the present invention consists of either a solid block of dense, protective material, or layers of material. The layers of material serve to both deflect and absorb impact and blast force, resist vertical force, as well as provide more traditional rolling door functions such as fire resistance or sound and heat insulation.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2015Date of Patent: August 29, 2017Assignee: LAWRENCE ROLL UP DOORS, INC.Inventors: Steven Hahn, Paul Freberg, Paul Lawrence

Publication number: 20110229275Abstract: An erosion control device is placeable on a ground surface for serving as a barrier to the passage of soil past the control device. The control device includes a bag member that includes an upper member and a lower member that define a hollow pocket between the upper member and the lower member. A filler material is placed within the pocket member to impart a pillow-like shape to the bag member. The filler material is includes filler elements derived from shredded tires.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 11, 2011Publication date: September 22, 2011Inventors: Michael Winings, Steven Hahn

Publication number: 20070123357Abstract: A direct torque flow constant velocity joint direct connector is provided. The direct torque flow constant velocity joint direct connector includes an inner joint part, shaft, a plurality of balls and an outer joint part. The outer joint part is connected to the shaft and articulately secured in a rotationally fast way to the inner joint part by the plurality of balls. The inner joint part includes an extension for direct engagement with a drive unit. Also, a direct torque flow constant velocity joint connection is provided that includes a drive unit coupled to a direct torque flow constant velocity joint male spline connector.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 29, 2005Publication date: May 31, 2007Inventors: Steven Hahn, Hans Wormsbächer

Publication number: 20060086439Abstract: A method for heat treating at least one workpiece, such as a coated turbine engine component, is provided. The method comprises the steps of cleaning a furnace to be used during the heat treating method, which cleaning method comprising injecting a gas at a workpiece center location and applying heat, and diffusion heat treating the at least one workpiece in a gas atmosphere with the gas being injected at the workpiece center location. After the diffusion heat treatment step, the coated workpiece(s) may be subjected to a surface finishing operation such as a peening operation.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2005Publication date: April 27, 2006Inventors: Steven Burns, Steven Hahn

Publication number: 20050163414Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a rib structural system, tape-shaped prepregs, each made of a fiber reinforced composite material into which a resin is impregnated, are laminated to form ribs in the form of a grid, while an optical fiber including Fiber Bragg Grating members at predetermined locations is layered in the ribs. The Fiber Bragg Grating members are arranged at intermediate locations dependent upon their reflection wavelengths, each of the intermediate locations being substantially midway between two adjacent intersections in of two or more ribs.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2004Publication date: July 28, 2005Applicant: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Hajime Takeya, Tsuyoshi Ozaki, Steven Hahn

Patent number: 5217014Abstract: The electrode assembly includes at least one pregelled biopotential electrode having an electrolyte gel in contact with the electrode element. An electrically conductive component is removably mounted to electrically connect both the electrolyte gel and the electrode element conductor to complete a conductive bridge therebetween. The conductive element is inert relative to the electrolyte to avoid degradation of the electrolyte.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1991Date of Patent: June 8, 1993Assignee: Biofield Corp.Inventors: Steven Hahn, Mark L. Faupel

Patent number: 4540931Abstract: A system for automatically controlling output voltage to correct for varying input voltage utilizes a transformer having a movable core structure. The output voltage from the transformer is sensed and made to conform to a predetermined standard by moving the movable core structure, which is then locked in position after its adjustment. Voltage changes are step-free, and linear voltage control with respect to time is achieved through non-linear movement of the core structure over a range of variation of the output voltage.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1983Date of Patent: September 10, 1985Assignee: Regulation Technology, Inc.Inventor: Steven Hahn
-
Patent number: 4428018Abstract: An AC power supply system having transformer and filter structures. The electrical center of the filter section, which is normally connected to system ground, floats with respect to system ground and is connected to a center tap on the secondary winding of the transformer structure.Type: GrantFiled: January 5, 1982Date of Patent: January 24, 1984Assignee: High Stoy Technological CorporationInventor: Steven Hahn

Patent number: 4305541Abstract: An electronically operated portable nail driving gun is disclosed. Nails are driven into a workpiece by a driver blade which is actuated by a solenoid powered by a source of alternating current. Each actuation of the device produces two successive driving strokes delivered to a nail. The tool is also provideed with means for preventing more than one nail being driven during each actuation of the tool. A preferred embodiment in which the tool is double insulated is also disclosed as are control circuits which permit operation at either 110 V. or 220 V.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 1979Date of Patent: December 15, 1981Assignee: Swingline Inc.Inventors: Edward E. Barrett, Dusan Dubovsky, Steven Hahn, Albert Lensky, Morris Pinczewski
