  • Publication number: 20170362132
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensional macroporous filament construct having interconnected microporous filaments showing a suitable surface roughness and microporosity. The method includes the steps of: a) preparing a suspension having particles of a predetermined material, a liquid solvent, one or more binders and optionally one or more dispersants, b) depositing the suspension in the form of filaments in a predetermined three-dimensional pattern, preferably in a non-solvent environment, thereby creating a three-dimensional filament-based porous structure, c) inducing phase inversion, whereby said filaments are transformed from a liquid to a solid state, by exposing the filaments during the deposition of the filaments with a non-solvent vapour and to a liquid non-solvent, d) thermally treating the structure of step d) by calcining and sintering the structure.

  • Patent number: 9618353
Abstract: A device 20 for requesting a vehicle to a location associated with the device. The device 20 comprises input means 126 arranged to generate a vehicle request upon receipt of a user input, said device 20 being arranged to allow at least a second vehicle request to be generated using the input means before the vehicle associated with a first vehicle request has departed from the location associated with the device. The device 20 is arranged, for each vehicle request, to generate a message indicative of the status of the vehicle request and to display the generated message on a display 124. The device is arranged to stop displaying the message on the display 124 when the requested vehicle departs from the location.

  • Patent number: 9339771
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel pervaporation membranes comprising a porous support layer upon which a thin coating is applied. More specifically, the present invention provides pervaporation membranes with an improved performance by applying an aggregate filled PTMSP coating with a maximal thickness of 25 ?m onto the porous support. The present invention further relates to methods of the manufacturing of such pervaporation membranes.

  • Patent number: 7232310
Abstract: An interproximal squirt brush includes a solution container having a compressible solution chamber for containing a washing solution and a nozzle head having an opening, and a brush head including a brush arm and a brush member. The brush arm has a brush portion and a retention portion slidably inserted into the opening of the solution container, wherein a dispensing channel is formed between the retention portion of the brush arm and the inner wall of the nozzle head for allowing the solution to pass therethrough. The brush member is provided at the brush portion of the brush arm. Therefore, when a compression force is applied on the solution container, the solution is released to the brush member through the dispensing channel of the nozzle head.

  • Patent number: 5647069
Abstract: A bidet apparatus includes a base plate fitted to an upper horizontal rim surface of a conventional toilet. A rear nozzle block is pivotally mounted to the base plate and includes two separate water inlets connected to two separate nozzles. Each nozzle includes a plurality of holes to spray water at an angle at the posterior and genital areas of a user. Two valves are mounted to the base plate each having one inlet connectable to a pressurized water source, and one outlet, with each of the outlets being connected to a respective one of the separate water inlets. Conduits connect the separate water inlets to the valve outlets. A position handle is mounted to the base plate and includes a handle shaft moveable in back and forth motion for adjusting the position of the rear nozzle block. A linkage is connected between the rear nozzle block and the position handle for moving the rear nozzle block to an in-use position in response to movement of the handle shaft.
