  • Publication number: 20230278767
Abstract: An interlocking wrap and method for covering an outer surface of an object provides desirable qualities to complex tube shapes using a flat piece of material. The wrap may cover tubes, handles, rods, or hoops, in their many examples. Existing adhesive technologies applied to the back of the material, combined with the formation of the material into a series of three or more offset tabs that interlock when folded together in the prescribed alternating order at their meeting points, creates a cover that is pleasing to the eye, protective, and durable to frictional use. The tabs overlap one over the next in similar fashion to a zipper or a braid, only leaving the bottom tab exposed to use.

  • Publication number: 20170340512
Abstract: A energizing bed, primarily comprising an enclosed space of the bed with a power control box and a door for entering and exiting. A heating apparatus is connected to the base board of the bed while an anion generator and oxygen generator are attached to the outside of the bed body. One of the bed ends has air holes for supplying anions and oxygen as well as being the side to mount the power control box, which will control the heating apparatus, anion generator, and oxygen generator. This allows the person to be treated to lie down on the bed and revitalize oneself by allowing cell metabolism to happen in its ideal environment.

  • Publication number: 20140201838
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for detecting threats on a network. In an embodiment, target network traffic being transmitted between two or more hosts is captured. The target network traffic comprises a plurality of packets, which are assembled into one or more messages. The assembled message(s) may be parsed to generate a semantic model of the target network traffic. The semantic model may comprise representation(s) of operation(s) or event(s) represented by the message(s). Score(s) for the operation(s) or event(s) may be generated using a plurality of scoring algorithms, and potential threats among the operation(s) or event(s) may be identified using the score(s).

  • Patent number: 8034564
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of human genetics. Specifically, the present invention relates to methods and materials used to isolate and detect a human obesity and diabetes predisposing gene, specifically the TBC1D1 gene, some mutant alleles of which cause susceptibility to obesity and/or diabetes. More specifically, the invention relates to germline mutations in the TBC1D1 gene and their use in the diagnosis of predisposition to obesity and diabetes. Finally, the invention relates to the screening of the TBC1D1 gene for mutations/alterations, which are useful for diagnosing the predisposition to obesity.
