    Abstract: A constant velocity joint includes an outer race including an opening defining an inner surface having a plurality of grooves formed therein and an inner race defining an outer surface having a plurality of grooves formed therein. Each of the inner race grooves is associated with a corresponding one of the outer race grooves. A cage extends between the outer race and the inner race. The cage has an outer surface, an inner surface, and a plurality of ball receiving apertures that extend between the outer surface and the inner surface. Each of the ball receiving apertures is associated with a corresponding one of the associated grooves of the outer race and the inner race. A ball is disposed in each of the ball receiving apertures of the cage and extends into the associated grooves of the outer race and the inner race. The outer surface of the inner race has a web provided thereon that engages the inner surface of the cage.
