  • Patent number: 11678421
Abstract: A decorative light string is provided that includes a plurality of light emitting diode (LED) illumination assemblies electrically connected in series and a stabilizing current or voltage circuit. Each of the plurality of LED illumination assemblies includes an LED. The stabilizing current or voltage circuit is electrically connected in series with the plurality of LED illumination assemblies. The stabilizing current or voltage circuit is configured to receive input power from an input power source and configured to supply a stabilized current or voltage to the plurality of LED illumination assemblies that provides a stable supply even with input power source fluctuations. Power fluctuations from an input power source can prevent the decorative light string from maintaining a desired brightness and desired LED life unless the voltage or current to the LED illumination assemblies is stabilized.

  • Patent number: 11070017
Abstract: A central shaft power connector for lighted ornaments is disclosed. A central support pole, such as for a Christmas tree is made in multiple parts joinable with an electrical and mechanical connector which joins the pole parts and simultaneously connects power or other circuits from one part to the other. The connector has two engaging sections and an outrigger platform which locates a connector off to the side of the poles but in alignment. Final alignment is obtained by a key and keyway in the connector parts. The connector is friction fit into a slot on each section so that the connector can be removed and replaced.

  • Patent number: 10655829
Abstract: A decorative light apparatus has a housing 12, a dome 20, a power supply, a motor 30, a light board 36 having LEDs 46 surrounding the motor, a multi-surface refractive lens and a beam-splitter lens light shade. The light disk 36 supports the motor 30 directly so that alignment of the LEDs, lens and motor are always correct. The motor may further transmit vibrations into the light board which can provide a slight shimmering effect of the light passing through the lens.
